Oh great and wise JustAGuy... Where do the socks the washer eats end up and why does the washing machine never eat two that match? (I realize this is a "relationship advice catagory" so I'll justify this in terms of having better chance at a relationship if my socks match! LOL!) I would like to add to this, if I may galendgirl? Why is it only socks that get eaten? |

Ummm....no...it isn't. There will still be times when the kids, even though they aren't at home, are going to run into trouble, or have some kind of problem. You would still have to deal with their mother while she is trying to help them. Any mother who is truly a mother is going to help her children whether you like it or not. She says once they're out of the house, they're on their own! Sorry, double post. Sorry JustAGuy, had to comment. No worries, Kimmie. Comments are always welcome. Sometimes I may not think of things the same way as others, so getting other views is always good. :-) |

Ummm....no...it isn't. There will still be times when the kids, even though they aren't at home, are going to run into trouble, or have some kind of problem. You would still have to deal with their mother while she is trying to help them. Any mother who is truly a mother is going to help her children whether you like it or not. Sometimes I may not think of things the same way as others, so getting other views is always good. :-) Just want to know his take on this, even have an example....my oldest just called and the census is low where she works, she works at a hospital, so they are sending her home. By the time she gets off the train it will be midnight, I am supposed to let her walk home alone? She called the one person she knew for a fact would meet her, MOM. |

I have a picture of him wandering around on my website somewhere. He is a mean and evil little creature. He only eats one sock out of a pair because if he eats both, he gets heartburn. He is even MORE unpleasant when he has heartburn. Be thankful he is only taking one sock. He doesn't live in the washer and eat socks from there because it is simply too wet there. He much prefers the desert like conditions found in the dryer. He told me it's because living in the dryer is " kinda like living in Las Vegas " and he REALLY loves Vegas. The socks that DO disappear in the washer are usually eaten by the amphibious version of the sock eating monster. That monster I have never seen. The Sock Eating Monster told me about him, and I don't think he would lie to me. :-) |

As near as I can figure this one...there are a couple of options. 1) He is just a " player " and he is stringing you along, knowing full well that you will be there when he calls. 2) He is conflicted in his feelings for you. 3) He is trying the " hard to get " thing because some idiot told him it was a good idea because " chicks dig that ". 4) He may be just one of those " off again, on again " type of people. Ok. So that's four options. lol I'm sure there are more options that I haven't thought of, but I think those pretty well cover things. It'll be up to you to ascertain exactly what he is up to. My advice would be to just flat out ask him why he does it. If he circles around the subject or can't come up with a decent answer, you will know that it's probably in your best interest to move on.
