I did read and I do understand. But you don't have to mean about it, especially to the guys that want to get to know you. All you have to do is say thank you but not interested. You don't have to tell everyone and put down the poor guys that think they have a chance in finally meeting someone on this site. Sorry for not being a professional on this site. I agree. If you email someone back, they are going to think you are interested. And, why not? Why jump on them for trying? Just say no thank you if you don't want what they are offering. I did say thank you... I didn't jump him.. I explained my age limits... And still he pushed.. I think that is not being courteous to me... That is all I'm saying... I do understand why some choose to not answer.... I love to make friends so I do answer emails and I'm nice unless they are rude that is when I will block.. He was not rude, just wouldn't take thank you but no thank you.. |

You can't complain about getting emails and IM's on a dating site. It's posts like these that make guys afraid to email or IM to start a conversation. If you don't want to talk just don't respond or decline the IM. Guys with a little brass wont take rejection or threads like this as a threat...If you have a little common courtesy you can approach any women and leave yourself and her with some dignity. You might even be successful once or twice. But if Sh!t comes out everytime your mouth is open then dont expect to get anywhere, cause they can smell you coming before you get there. |

(((Angel))) where have you been sweetpea? Socratease you are right and I try to always say thank you, etc. I understand the email and im reasons.. John 1) I wasn't putting the "guy" down.. I was expressing how I feel and understand how others feel... which is my right. Not sure you realize this but it's a free site and in America even.... Makes a difference... 2) did I say his name? and he's not in the threads.... 3)Angry much? 4)maybe a little more time in the threads before judging will give you an idea of how people are on here... again glad you played.... First of all I wasn't trying to be mean. Second, Its a free site and and I can respond to any posts that I want, just as you can post anything you want. Third, yes bad day.. thank you for asking. and lastly. I know how people are on here. I know how people are on here, but I didn't know we were playing a game.. It's cute I like it... so those of you that "know" me know that I wasn't being mean or rude that I was just stating that I understand some of these other posts we've seen b/c at a point it can get frustrating.... correct? remember the "know me part"...

ok read the whole thread....
have a couple things to say on this (big suprise i know!! ) 1.. john... while i understand how you feel... the point in the thread was NOT to start downgrading ANYONE.. it was to bring into the open some dating site common curtosey... for example.. most girls prefer to get to know someone before they start to IM with them.. and if they do start to IM.. the IM will NOT start or generaly end with.. anything of the nature of.. "what are you wearing" " talk dirty to me" "i wanna FU(K you SO HARD!!!" or anyting of the nature...things like these are the reason so many of us haveturned off our IM features.. 2... any guy who does not know dating site curtoseys.. please read above!! 3.. i HATE when that happens.. example.. just today i had a guy email me his phone ## just because i responded to a post that he had made.. in the reply email i politely told him that i had a BF.. and was here just for friends.. he emailed back a reply that if i were to put on here would end up gettin this moved to the sex forum.. to which i "politely" asked him to learn to read profiles BEFORE emailin someone... 4... thats all i got.
