I know what the word means. How has Obama duped the 18M people who voted for him?

the same way all mainstream politicians dupe their followers
tell them what they think they wanna hear then do what they feel like doing

OK, so do you think John McCain is duping voters?

of course

Voting 3rd party?

I think from the limited clips released, she did fine. So she didn't know what "the Bush Doctrine" was... She's been Governor of Alaska and I don't think it's that important. She's clearly been cramming, and was very robotic in her responses, but for all the pressure this woman is under, I think she did OK.

She did have a pretty smug look on her face when she was clueless on the "Bush Doctrine" question.

not as bad as Obama, I still want to hear about his change. And not to mention, Have the people people in here has not clue about that man,

Not one of you can tell me what he has accomplished in the senate, not one thing that show me that he is a good leader or would make a good leader.

OK... Here you go... On taxes from the Wall Street Journal:
http://online.wsj.com/public/article_print/SB121867201724238901.html

"The Obama plan would cut taxes for 95% of workers and their families with a tax cut of $500 for workers or $1,000 for working couples. In addition, Sen. Obama is proposing tax cuts for low- and middle-income seniors, homeowners, the uninsured, and families sending a child to college or looking to save and accumulate wealth.

The Obama plan would dramatically simplify taxes by consolidating existing tax credits, eliminating the need for millions of senior citizens to file tax forms, and enabling as many as 40 million middle-class filers to do their own taxes in less than five minutes and not have to hire an accountant.

Sen. Obama also recognizes that small businesses are the engine of job growth in the economy. That is why he is proposing additional tax cuts, including a tax credit for small businesses that provide health care, and the elimination of capital gains taxes for small businesses and start-ups. The vast majority of small businesses would face lower taxes under the Obama plan than under the McCain plan."

Next issue? What do you want to hear about?

Oops. Back on topic...

"Back in October 2007, when McCain's candidacy still appeared dead and buried, the Senator berated the two Republican front runners (Giuliani, Romney) for lacking the necessary political experience to handle commander in chief responsibilities."

"I am prepared. I am prepared. I need no on-the-job training. I wasn't a mayor for a short period of time. I wasn't a governor for a short period of time."

Wow! He's like Carnac the Magnificent!

I guess we shouldn't second guess... Domo arigato, Mrs. Roboto...

GIBSON: What if Israel decided it felt threatened and needed to take out the Iranian nuclear facilities?

PALIN: Well, first, we are friends with Israel and I don't think that we should second guess the measures that Israel has to take to defend themselves and for their security.

GIBSON: So if we wouldn't second guess it and they decided they needed to do it because Iran was an existential threat, we would cooperative or agree with that.

PALIN: I don't think we can second guess what Israel has to do to secure its nation.

GIBSON: So if it felt necessary, if it felt the need to defend itself by taking out Iranian nuclear facilities, that would be all right.

PALIN: We cannot second guess the steps that Israel has to take to defend itself.

This was an email I got yesterday...

Before you dismiss the fact that Sarah Palin is Commander of the
Alaska National Guard, consider this:

Alaska is the first line of defense in our missile interceptor
defense system. The 49th Missile Defense Battalion of the Alaska
National Guard is the unit that protects the entire nation from
ballistic missile attacks. It’s on permanent active duty, unlike
other Guard units.

As governor of Alaska , Palin is briefed on highly classified
military issues, homeland security, and counterterrorism. Her
exposure to classified material may rival even Biden's and
certainly by far exceeds Obama's.

She's also the commander in chief of the Alaska State Defense
Force (ASDF), a federally recognized militia incorporated into
Homeland Security's counterterrorism plans.

Palin is privy to military and intelligence secrets that are vital to
the entire country's defense. Given Alaska 's proximity to Russia ,
she may have security clearances we don't even know about.
According to the Washington Post, she first met with McCain in
February, but nobody ever found out. This is a woman used to
keeping secrets.

She can be entrusted with our national security, because she already is.

If McCain wins the election, but dies in office (ie heart attack). Do you think Sarah Palin is ready to be President?
