It certainly has! Never before have I spent so much time in front of my computer!
 But seriously, I have made so many wonderful friends, both online and in real life, through JSH/Mingle with whom I've shared both good and bad times. I expect some of these will be lifelong friends

I've enjoyed it...met people through good times and bad....many friends I have made, and they will always be in my heart. Yes and you will be in our thoughts as well as our prayers in all that you do for us here while your gone. Please do keep in touch when you must leave on your journey once again.

HAS THIS SITE MADE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR LIFE? The time that I have been at this site I have seen a lot of different people that have come and gone. I have seen those that came in like a LION and have actually turned out to be a LAMB. Hearts that once was cold are shinning though like a HEART of GOLD. There are many that have found the other half of there soul. Whether it be here they found them or somewhere else. COULD IT BE THAT JUST TO HAVE A PLACE TO VENT OUR THOUGHTS IS ALL IT TOOK TO SEE OURSELVES A LITTLE BETTER AND TO BE ABLE TO OPEN OUR HEARTS FOR OTHERS TO SEE THE TRUE US? MY Question is: Can you HONESTLY say that this site has not helped you see the true you and let others come into your world? Have you actually opened doors in your heart and mind that once was closed? I know we have a lot of NEW MEMBERS that was on Mingle2 and since you have not been here long.  Not only did I meet, but MARRIED the love of my life here on the former JSH! Will be celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary Nov 3rd! Man, how time flies! He sent me a little St. Patrick's Day wish on March 16, we met two weeks later, and married....as I said....in Nov! He is precious!!! So, don't give up, and as has been mentioned....you meet great friends here. Who knows, you may even marry your best friend. Has it helped? Changed my life? In a word Y--------E----------S!            Awww yes another success story for the site and what a great one it is. I wish you both all the happiness in the world.

jsh wasthe only site that taught me some good stuff to the point where i became a better person and yet i have found the love of my life on jsh--i'm still contacting her as we speak-- mingle2 is a different stories--lots of new people--avoidance of some former jsh'ers--it doesn't matter tho-- Awwwwww hey to you Shadow another long time JSHer lol and one that surely found the love he was looking for. Hummm will not be long before the move will it? I wish you both all the happiness in the world!! it won't be long before i move up there--got lots to do here-- |

This place is interesting. It's much more of a melting pot than my everyday life. Here you meet people across all spectrums. There's value in just being around people that come from completely different walks of life. If nothing else it gives you better insight in to what others are thinking, experiencing, talking about, etc. In real life you tend to hang with people that are similar to you, and your perspective narrows. Here you can experience a little of everything and everybody. That has to be a good thing.

earlier in this thread, i mentioned
that i thought this place has softened me... in retrospect, i realize that's not accurate for i have always been a soft, kind ~ hearted lady however, i do not tolerate disrespect...  this site is what you make it... but it can really take you away from much more important things...  i have found that I allowed myself to get so sucked up into the drama & the soap operas here  and i am not a person who even watches that kind of stuff on TV,  much less, do i want it in my personal life... This site is nice if you are lonely and need some interaction with people above and beyond your everyday communications, But it like everything ... can be very habit forming , and throw A PERSON OUT OF KILTER very quickly... removing them from their daily rituals & habits if they don't keep it in proper perspective so, especially with being a Libran Lady I so need balance & I am spending this time in finding " the Balance & Center"  that i had misplaced for a while  & is so very vital in life and i feel great ...  like the Graceful Mighty Phoenix rising from the ashes once more !!! |

Since being on this site I have talked to several different people.  I have learned that men are basically the same on here as in the real world!!  SEX SEX SEX! I am looking for more than that. Yes sex is wonderful. I would love to find someone who has a great mind and sense of humor to back up the sex. I will keep trying. No matter where you talk to others there will be good and bad in every where you go. That is reality in it's finest. No matter what we are looking for as long as we keep looking one day we shall find what we seek. As long as we don't give up in the process.

It's comforting to see that there are so many great people in the world, even if they are all 897,000 miles away. Because they're still there, even if I can't see them from here....I can still read their posts and e-mails.... Thank you, JSH/Mingle2. Of all the sites I've been on, this is the only one that ever became an addiction.... Your so right Lex the site is and addiction for sure and yeah I'm and addict as well. Have meet a lot of really super nice people on here some I call my friends. It is like any thing else in life if you let the few bad ones spoil things for you they will. Those you just must over look and move on. |

it has brought smiles to my face it has brought scowls to my face it has allowed me to meet great people it has allowed me to bump into great assholes things that happen in daily life, so no it hasn't made a difference, has been entertaining, humorous and even raunchy and educational, guess it's all how we take the info provided.  |

I would have to say yes that this site has made a difference. I have meet many amazing people on here and face to face and i will never forget any of them. They are all part of my family now and i know i can count on them when i need someone to talk to! i love ya all!!   Awww friends are grand are they not? |

Oh, YES! And I made a post in success stories today. I was holding off making that post, but then I got to thinking about what success really is and when I did that I determined that mine and Peccy's story belonged there. Everything in life makes a difference and nothing is guranteed except that life is short and has a grand finale. So live people! Awwww another success story we will be watching in time to see where it goes I wish you both all the best in the world
