Did McCain hit a Grand Slam with her as his VP choice? I think so. Strong, Smart and Sexy as hell!! I'm an independent and I will now be voting for McCain. I think the liberals are a little defensive here..
I think McCain made a great choice. You liberals don't like her because she stands for everything that you are not, she is pro-life and we all know how liberals love killing little unborn babies. She is a life long member of the NRA, and she has conservative values. You all have to attack her because she happens to be a woman.. Well, she is just as qualified as Obamarama to run this country, if not more. |

McCain Picked this woman for one reason and one reason only.
He is afraid of loosing! That said... just when Obama was holding all the cards McCain turns out to be playing chess. Im voting Obama but i gotta say... McCain, one hell of a strong move to pick a woman as your VP. It puts the so called P.U.M.A. vote in serious play. Then more importantly finally makes the McCain camp exciting! Something they could never do. Expect to see large crowds at the RNC next week. Down side is it subverts McCains ability to play the experience attack. The big difference between Miss Alaska (runner up) and Obama when it comes to experience is that America knows him well now and the Dems trust him. It remains to be seen for this V-PILF (lol crude i know but this aint the washington post after all) |

I live in Alaska and I can tell you first hand of the good she has done here. She started making waves the minute she went into office and she hasn't stopped since.
The Permanent Fund Dividend did exist long before Sarah Palin did as a politician but energy relief is a separate issue altogether. It just so happens to be paid out at the same time as the dividends. Instead of a $2,000 dividend, this year we get an extra $1,200...similar to the economic stimulus payments received from the federal government earlier this year, only paid out at the same time. Sarah Palin is responsible for that movement and Alaskans are eternally grateful. She represents what it is to be an Alaskan. Small town girl with big ideas. My brother went to high school with her son and my mom runs into her on a regular basis around town. She is a honest to God hard working wife and mother and exactly what this country needs, with or without McCain...and I'm relatively certain she was chosen more for her oil connections rather than her ovaries...think about it. |

Ypu missed the part where she stopped the $400,000,000.00 Pork Bridge to nowhere or forced the Big Oil to pay taxes, or the part where a Private Company got the contract to build the new gas pipeline and not big oil. Or the part where she has an 89% approval rating or is the most popular Governer in the Country. Well I quess those aren't negative so they don't count. Ted Stevens doesn't like her either. |

Ted Stevens doesn't like her either. she didnt stop the bridge. she actually supported it.... that is until she didnt. i got a pair of flip flops she can have. even then she didnt stop it. it takes more than one person to stop these things. piplines who cares who built it? really? does it matter? the oil companies still profit from it. actually sounds to me like they make more money by not having to spend the money to biuld it in the first place. and her approval rating is 80% not 89% that may be nit picking but what is not is the fact there are roughly only 700,000 people in the entire state of alaska. there are more people than that in south los angeles alone. not hard to have people like you when there are only 8000 people in the town where you start your political career. |
