Churches are after the 'All Mighty Dollar' like everyone else,if not
worse. Have you ever seen a minister or a preist drive an old beat up
car?

congregationalist church's have little benefit to be seen either from
over-demanding tribute from themselves or overly enriching those who
oversee the church.

According to the law the churches are just another business that are
exempt from most taxes.

NOTHING ELSE TO DO LETS POOR RAIN DOWN ON THE CHURCHES. YOU SAY ITS
ALL ABOUT THE MONEY, WELL WHY DONT YOU GET INVOLVED IN THE CHURCH
BUISSNESS THEN. I MEAN YOU COULD BE RICH. LET ME GEUSS EITHER YOUR NOT
SMART ENOUGH TO START YOUR OWN CHURCH, OR YOUR NOT BRAVE ENOUGH TO, OR
YOU JUST DONT HAVE THE FUNDS, EVEN MORE SO MAYBE YOU JUST LIKE TO SET
AROUND ON COMPUTERS AN RAIN DOWN ON EVERYTHING THAT BOTHERS YOU. CHURCH
ISNT FOR EVERYONE BUT UM IF ITS THERE MONEY WHY YOU WORRIED ABOUT IT,
MAYBE THE SUPERMARKET IS IN BUISSNESS JUST FOR THE MONEY NOW CAN WE POOR
SOME RAIN ON THEM.

Sorry guys, I have to agree with Brokenhomes On this one. Not that you
aren't smart, but why would you pick on Churches? It's really there for
the people. If you want to blame any one for making the money, you
should be looking at the people who get fleeced.They give it willingly.

Not only do they give it willingly but most congregationalist church's
chose how the money is spent.

all i can say is if its not your money then who cares if there in it
for the money or not. if there getten rich off of it good for them if
not to bad for them, i mean really wats the big deal? its because it
called a church isnit if it was anything else yall wouldnt care.

You have grouped churches together. That is like saying all men are pigs
or all women are *****es. I agree I have been to some churches that I
felt like they were there to make money but I have also been to churches
where I felt they are doing a service for the community and missions.

I was born and raised in a Christian home.

When I was a kid we went to a local church.
It was a small one building Baptist church.

Now it has a 20 acre parking lot, and consist of a small city.

I think it is like every thing else you have your good and you have your
bad people! not the churches

The only difference between a church and a "regular" business is that
the churches aren't required to adhere to any "truth in advertising"
laws....

That is all churches are in it for. I USE to go. And left every service
I went to that is all they talked about was money. I so do not do the
the religious thing at ALL.

my exs dad was a preacher and he was the biggest crook i have ever
met!... so was alot of his preachers buddies. all he could think about
was CASH! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
