The comparisons are there. Bush wants to "force" democracy on the people of other nations without their permission mind you and at the cost of many many innocent lives. Bush has utilized the grief of our nation to further his ideals. Not cool. I already said that hitler has the baby shrub beat but only by a nose. The loss of life has not equaled hitlers yet but the tyranny of the cause is comparable. lady can you imagine living in iraq today? can you imagine raising your children there? can you imagine the amount of brainwash that those innocent children and people have to OVERCOME?? can you imagine turning and walking away from that??? i still have yet to see many americans running to get outta the borders. quit cut and pasting total hogwash and there will be less to overcome. last checked, i am quite FREE. it is only God that i answer to |

I am by no means a supporter of Bush . . but I completely do not understand drawing this kind of comparison . . .
I really think all of you (that support this kind of comparison) have allowed your difference in opinion to taint your judgments. Comparing a man who sought genocide . . . and a man compelled by his religion to remove a tyrant (while doing so he happened to screw up just about everything) Seems to me to be an effort in demonization. As humans we really should seek to reconcile our understandings, not dehumanize someone for there mistakes. ________ |

People are still confusing patriotism with sticking their heads up the leader's butt and following him into hell. One can be patriotic and see the fault of the president.
