come on now if bush had his wish list and no one stood in his way and cheer lead for him and worshiped him we would allready be at war in Iran. The fact is there was enough out cry over Iraq to make those nutty neo cons stop and think for a minute, in fact they even wanted to dress up Navy seals as iranian sailors and attack US ships to make the war more exceptable to the public, if that isnt nazi thinking I dont know what is.

Lol, your assumptions and logic amuses me. Fact, using a statement of fact, such as what you just did, does not mean something is true, it merely means it can be proven true or false. It is a common tool of politicians to try to confuse voters. Way to support their tactics. |

Lol, your assumptions and logic amuses me. Fact, using a statement of fact, such as what you just did, does not mean something is true, it merely means it can be proven true or false. It is a common tool of politicians to try to confuse voters. Way to support their tactics. The fact that we’re hearing these kind of stories coming from reputable reporters like Hersh and not just the likes of Alex Jones, should be a wake up call to moderates who find it hard to believe that such clandestine and repugnant operations actually occur. Speaking at the Campus Progress journalism conference earlier this month, Seymour Hersh - a Pulitzer-Prize winning journalist for The New Yorker - revealed that Bush administration officials held a meeting recently in the Vice President's office to discuss ways to provoke a war with Iran. In Hersh's most recent article, he reports that this meeting occurred in the wake of the overblown incident in the Strait of Hormuz, when a U.S. carrier almost shot at a few small Iranian speedboats. The "meeting took place in the Vice-President's office. 'The subject was how to create a casus belli between Tehran and Washington,'" according to one of Hersh's sources. During the journalism conference event, I asked Hersh specifically about this meeting and if he could elaborate on what occurred. Hersh explained that, during the meeting in Cheney's office, an idea was considered to dress up Navy Seals as Iranians, put them on fake Iranian speedboats, and shoot at them. This idea, intended to provoke an Iran war, was ultimately rejected: http://current.com/items/89178696_cheney_considered_proposal_to_dress_up_navy_seals_as_iranians_and_shoot_at_them |

I love how just because you dont like that I am right about what a statement of fact is, you call it republican/fox news. What do any of those things have to do with a statement of fact?
