I think some people forgot to take their meds..............its getting ridiculous..........this isnt a dating site its a let me degrade someone for having an opinion........ Sometimes it can be, sure. What I find helpful is depersonalizing a post. I try to read it in an objective way and realize it's not about me. At times, things hit a nerve no matter what. If that happens, I try, try, to remember I don't know the poster's experiences, feelings, current mood, attitude, etc. What should be aimed for is a rational debate, and to not think it is about me. It's not.... |
