I can not believe I actually sat here and read this whole thread.

But I have to agree it just does not feel the same. Not like it did back when I first started almost 2 years ago.

And what really gets me, is when I got suspended, no warning no nothing. And then when I complain to somebody who was supposed to be an admin. That is when they tried telling me I WAS warned. I am like well OK then. I never recieved anything, but when I went on to tell him that he said that I was questioning his authority.

Please note, that when I first signed up, I was told told that the admins, would always be around to listen to us members, but yet when it comes to voicing a compliant, they do not want to hear it. Turning into kind of a double standard if you ask me.

Hummm well I have been here almost 2 years ago and I very well remember the way it was.

I also remember some of the things that other members did to others and got away with it due to no Moderation system in place.

I could pull threads up that would curl your toes due to what was said on the threads.

I have yet to see that the Admin did not answer the e-mails they get from any member. When they get and e-mail on a complaint they look over what the situation was. You see every action that a Mod takes is logged. No matter if it is a deleted post or thread or even moved threads to the warnings that are sent out to other members. We must account for each action that we do and why we took that course. Why? In order for the Admin to look over the course of the day of what we did and that we were correct in doing so.

As far as members getting suspended I promise you that anytime I have seen a member get suspended it was due to they have accumalated more then one warning. Or seems to keep repeating themselves even after their suspensions. You see Admin can look at each members record of all warnings that were given and when and what for.

The only time I have seen a member get banned instantly is for putting up nude pics when first signing on, scammers or if they hit the forums in a fit of rage from the very beginning.

And again I am going to tell you, that people do not always get warnings before being suspended. I a proof of that. I just happened to me. You can sit there and tell me that they do, but I will argue the fact that they do not!

You say that there is a record about the warnings and what not, but can you tell me that the the system is 100% flaw free? I doubt it.

I check my e-mail all the time. And well last time, not one warning before I got suspended.

From what I have seen the system is very accurate but now there are cases where if it is a memeber that has several warnings in the past and and might have already been suspended.

When they cross that line again since it seems they have not learned from the past they receive a suspension and a e-mail to let them know why they are being suspended. That e-mail is also considered their warning at the time.

If my understanding is right... a warning at ANY time is grounds for getting into trouble with an additional warning later.

That is, if you were warned once that stands forever, wether it be in a thread or in a mail.

That way, if you are later suspended it does not matter if you did not get a mail, as you were previously warned. It only seems that way to some possibly?

Am I right in this interpretation?

There are flaws in things all the time. NOTHING is perfect. NOTHING.

But yet, members seem to be wrong all time around here.

This is a free site, either play by their rules or just stop playing all together.

Well no Lilith, you can not warn somebody about something, and they take that warning into consideration, and things are fine for a long while. But then a different problem happens. How can you use a pass warning to deal with a current problem?

Besides, if a warning was posted on a board, who is to say that the person is going to go back to that board?
