Just to Jog your memory:

The December 1998 bombing of Iraq (code-named Operation Desert Fox) was a major four-day bombing campaign on Iraqi targets from December 16-December 19, 1998 by the United States and United Kingdom. These strikes were officially undertaken in response to Iraq's continued failure to comply with United Nations Security Council resolutions as well as their interference with United Nations Special Commission inspectors.

It was a major flare-up in the Iraq disarmament crisis. The stated goal of the cruise missile and bombing attacks was to disrupt Saddam's ability to maintain his grip on power.

On October 31, 1998 US President Bill Clinton had signed into law H.R. 4655, the Iraq Liberation Act.[1] The new Act appropriated funds to Iraqi opposition groups in the hope of removing Saddam Hussein from power and replacing his regime with a democracy.

Clinton has done nothing that has killed hundreds of thousands of people regardless to your twisted view. No comparison here at all, move on, if you can.

Bush didn't kill hundreds of thousands, where did you get you figures

The number is shocking and sobering.

It is at least 10 times greater than most estimates cited in the US media, yet it is based on a scientific study of violent Iraqi deaths caused by the U.S.-led invasion of March 2003.

That study, published in prestigious medical journal The Lancet, estimated that over 600,000 Iraqis had been killed as a result of the invasion as of July 2006. Iraqis have continued to be killed since then. The graphic above provides a rough daily update of this number based on a rate of increase derived from the Iraq Body Count. (See the complete explanation.)

The estimate that over a million Iraqis have died received independent confirmation from a prestigious British polling agency in September 2007. Opinion Research Business estimated that 1.2 million Iraqis have been killed violently since the US invasion.

This devastating human toll demands greater recognition. It eclipses the Rwandan genocide and our leaders are directly responsible. Little wonder they do not publicly cite it. Here is simple HTML code to post the counter to your website and help spread the word.

Updated Iraq Study Affirms Earlier Mortality
Estimates
Study finds as many as 654,965 Iraqis may have died as result of invasion

By Tim Parsons
School of Public Health

As many as 654,965 more Iraqis may have died since hostilities began in Iraq in March 2003 than would have been expected under pre-war conditions, according to a survey conducted by researchers at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and Al Mustansiriya University in Baghdad.

The deaths from all causes — violent and nonviolent — are over and above the estimated 143,000 deaths per year that occurred from all causes prior to the March 2003 invasion.

The estimates were derived from a nationwide survey of 1,849 households throughout Iraq conducted between May and July 2006. The results are consistent with the findings of an October 2004 study of Iraq mortality conducted by the Johns Hopkins researchers. Also, the findings closely reflect the increased mortality trends reported by other organizations that utilized passive methods of counting mortality, such as counting bodies in morgues or deaths reported by the news media. The study is published in the Oct. 12 online edition of the peer-reviewed scientific journal The Lancet.

The problem with the whole thread is that Bush is a President, not a Dictator. He is not the reason we went to war. We have 3 branches of government. If Bush gets charged, so should the House and Senate. BTW I don't see a crime committed.

From www.iraqbodycount.org
86,658 – 94,553

You have to remember that this website views all deaths as equal.

So the murder of innocent civilians by a car bomber is the same as a terrorist being shot by the police. The actual number of civilian deaths is obviously lower than this figure as all US deaths and terrorist deaths are lumped in with civilian deaths.
