Just to Jog your memory: The December 1998 bombing of Iraq (code-named Operation Desert Fox) was a major four-day bombing campaign on Iraqi targets from December 16-December 19, 1998 by the United States and United Kingdom. These strikes were officially undertaken in response to Iraq's continued failure to comply with United Nations Security Council resolutions as well as their interference with United Nations Special Commission inspectors. It was a major flare-up in the Iraq disarmament crisis. The stated goal of the cruise missile and bombing attacks was to disrupt Saddam's ability to maintain his grip on power. Since we are President Bashing, I think Carter needs to be tried and convicted of crimes himself of failure to act on the US Embassy, Tehran takeover in 1979; which, might I remind you is an act of war... Oh WAIT ! Durn, I'm sorry, that was actually a good thing...he won the Nobel Peace Prize along with, OMG! Yassir Arafat! Oh man, I have been SO WRONG this whole time. I swear, I sincerely thought that everyone who opposed these things were evil. Ok, so here's what I've gathered: 1. Do the right thing, you get bashed, and a bad rep. 2. Be viscious and evil, win the Nobel Peace Prize. Ok. Now I know why everyone in this world is so confused. Now, my question is this....should I bash all the wrong people because I don't agree with what they have done or how they acted, or shouldl I support those who don't have the US and the worlds best intrests at heart.
