from experience, the 'every now and then' turns in to an 'all the time event'.... learned the hard way... x-husband started with smoking pot every now and then to every day then got in to meth... it's one of the reasons why we got divorced.

 What would you think about your significant other doing hard drugs?... but only once in a while?

Personally I would not get involved with someone who is into that... it is pretty sad when people have to use... now if I was in the relationship already and then they started??? I would pretty much see what the deal was for why they are using and if the drugs are benefiting their life more than I am I am out of there... Drugs are for wimps and losers... IMO

Mirror, you are going to get a LOT of very obvious and pedictable responses on this thread. I think most of us do not willingly seek out drug addicted folks to have long term relationships with.

Where it can become more tricky of course is if you meet someone, really enjoy them and their company and THEN you find out later there is a problem. I've been there and it’s very hard. Also, people can hide the nature of their addictions from you and some are VERY good at this and can be masters of deception.

If she was doing HARD DRUGS,she would have NEVER became my significant other,wink..drinker Hey im real with life and what I can except, some smoke now and then,a drink now and then...but HEAVY is NOT a WORKING DEAL,to WANT to make my life OR my weekends around...THATS a HEAVY ISSUE of heart, desire,
and problems arise with work, money, and BEING AROUNG them when their NOT high...as THEY become sick, agumentive, and sometimes hustle.. Im a lover NOT a fighter!! drinker

Lol...I know it may be hard to believe, but I have never done any kind of illegal drug or prescription pain medication.....never!! Of course I drink, and every now and again pop some aspirin for pain.
