I am rejoicing with you with all my heart.....and am the happiest sister in the world for you right now!!  HAPPY TEARS!!!!!! and a Dance of REJOICING !!!        I wish. Unfortunately I can't do it via "Christianity". I thought I could. But I can't. I should have known that. I was thinking in terms of the Holy Spirit, I forgot about the anchor of the doctrine. I'm not about to lug that thing around.

welcome to the plumb line, abra.
suppose you just listen to the Holy Spirit and let Him explain in due time as He chooses. you will get more from the Holy Spirit by listening than judging what course of action is being given you. If the Holy Spirit is speaking, and not yet giving you a course of action, then it's best just to listen and contemplate, but not make judgements. If there is any desire to please the Holy Spirit, it will only come from the direct charges given you and you alone, abra, as you are discerned to be unoffended with in your joy which should become unspeakable. That is all any is accountable to, when you think about it. After all, if we ourselves believe the Holy Spirit is saying things directly to our hearts, then what recourse is there but to be obedient to the love and learning expressed? It is a living conversation, one in which you are exercising faith in. Let go to it and let the Holy Spirit control His end of that conversation. It's best that way. I sympathize with your trepidations, my friend, I really truly do.

But in all honesty I'm throughly convinced that the so-called "word" is indeed the dragon that needs to be slain. It appears to be standing in the way of peace and love like a huge stone obelisk. It is the source of all hostility. It even turns Christian against Christian, Muslim against Jew, brother against brother. It's clearly not of divine origin MorningSong. We can see that in the works that it gives rise to. |

I am not worried.... yes indeed, the devil the mind does eat the doctrine, for a while, then spits it out after it has brought wisdom, and what come out is no longer doctrine....... and indeed, no truth is ever done or all known, as god or truth be ever learning........ so all you see is good, just percieved by a mind still filled with doctrine......... did not your jesus tell the scriptures to GET BEHIND HIM, as in "you are not my guide"? |

indeed, for have not all that ever lived eaten of the poison apple of the doctrine of the konwledge of the tree of the mind, saying who is evil and who is not, but these interpretations of the mind have come to a beginning of an end..........

I can see that the epiphany that I've had today cannot be shared. It would only be argued against.
It is so clear and lucid to me. I only wish I could share it. But I'm sure that any attempt to do so would only bring an onslaught of Christian criticizm and accusations. So it's better off left as a personal experience. So sad.

When I first started this thread I was excited because I thought I had finally found a way to preach brotherly love and peace for all mankind through Christianity. I thought I finally found a way to open the hearts and minds of Christians to true brotherly love.
Unfortunately that was quickly shattered when it was brought to my attention that the religion is actually grounded on the immovable rock of the bigotry of their doctrine. It's not grounded on the Holy Spirit at all. It is a religion that truly worships a book and a book only. It refuses anything outside of its book. And it has grossly misinterpreted that book to a point beyond repair. It has become a religion of denunciation of denominations even among its own followers. The original doctrine has fallen into many different vehemently-opposing religions, all of which worship their own demented distortions of the original doctrine. And by doing so it has caused world turmoil. It is impossible to preach brotherly love from within a religion that only considers 'brothers' to be like-minded 'believers' of specific clans of restricted interpretations of the so-called "word of God". It's a religion that allows its doctrine to be twisted into such hateful distortions as to denounce non-believers as being outcasts and not even children of God. It's an extremely evil manmade doctrine that spits in the face of the Holy Spirit. This morning I was happy because I thought I finally saw a way to bring everyone together through the Holy Spirit. But tonight I am saddened by the realization that the Holy Spirit has been superceded by man's lust for arrogant bigotry served up through the twisted demented minds and empty words of Paper Popes. If we could only get past the manmade dogmatic bigotry, we could find love for all mankind. Unfortunately it appears that these dogmatic religions have forever rejected the Holy Spirit in favor of the twisted words of the empty doctrines of bigotry that are now being aimed at instilling hatred toward non-believers of specific denominations through the demented words of Paper Popes. How do we get past this religious bigotry and get back to the Holy Spirit and the true notions of brotherly love for ALL mankind? |

I am afraid it will remain this way until enough people let go of that which they are not ... all that ego stuff ...  If enough people truly got the notion of One then this fighting and bickering would seem too ridiculous to continue ... Unfortunately ... as is often the case ... it is the least enlightened who are loudest... Be a shining example of that brotherly love for all James ... let your life be your message ... and write a book or sumthin ... |

Darn it all!!! And I was getting all ready for the epiphany party!!! Well, the epiphany still stands Voil. I do now fully undertand the scriptures written in the Bible. That was the actual epiphany. It was my error to then claim that I could qualify as a "Protestant Christian" I thought they believed that only the Holy Spirit could speak for God. But obviously that's not the case. And the Holy Spirit was kind enough to point that out to me real quick. There was no doubt that your first post was bogus. This one isn't any better. Do you think we're fooled Abra? Once you are moved by the Holy Spirit - we'll know. Your logic will make sense. |

 The reason for life is to find joy. The holy spirit is that which gives life and breathes life into all things. Beyond that, there is nothing else I need to know.  JB |
