Okay.. What are the differences in hauntings? Some ghosts are attracted to a certain location. Others can be attracted to a certain person. Some of them are just a re-enactment. Like Gettysburg. I'm just wondering how this works.. Maybe I should do some research. Ya know...I have never really given much thought to the differences in hauntings. I don't really know that there is that much of a difference in them other than whether they are just " ghostly " hauntings, or the " poltergeist " kind. AS I said when we were talking about the idea of multiple dimensions, I think that ghosts are basically people that haven't reached the dimension they are supposed to get to when they die. Whether it's because of " unfinished business " or something else ( such as a violent death like the battlefield at Gettysburg ), I really couldn't begin to speak about. Whatever it is, it is keeping them from moving on.

I do think you make a good point. However I also believe that when we are not in our physical form, we can travel to any dimension we choose. It's the physical body that limits us. What do you think?

Well...maybe. But like I said, I think ghosts get stuck in between. Maybe something limits mobility?? Maybe something we have to learn to do once we pass??

Have you ever had an out of body experience? I have.. It was the strangest thing that has ever happened to me. I was laying in bed one night and was really relaxed. Almost asleep, but I was aware of what was going on around me. I heard a loud noise and I sat up suddenly. I looked over at my alarm clock and all I could see was the electrical currents. Then I heard what sounded like someone gasping for air. I looked behind me and saw myself laying there. Just as that happened I was sucked back down into my body. Strangest sensation ever!

I was crashing at a friend's house, and I saw his great grandmother. But she had been dead for 10 years.

Wow.. Did that freak you out? I know that sort of thing doesn't really scared me. I have always wanted to go on ghost hunters. lol

Oh sure...no answer. lol OK. So I guess I'll ask this... What is it that you think makes people fear others? Is it something that is just ingrained in us because of our environment?
