i feel your pain there brother. so what do you think could be wrong with your truck?


I think it's the fuel pump and it's in the gas tank. just replced it 2 years ago and i have had the truck for 10 years now. I know things are goping to go wrong , but not with somthing i just replacedgrumble

It's been a long month for me trying to catch up on things, was getting there and then i was thrown a curve. My truck wont start and if it is what i think it is. I'm going to end up paying over $500 for itgrumble


Why is it when you think your getting where you would like to be to a certain extent. Somthing stupid happens and your back where you startd.

is it trying to turn over at all? like what are the symptoms....cause if you just replaced the feul pump 2 yrs ago i really dont think it would be that they dont just go bad that fast.

Well, with how they make things cheep these days, i w2ouldn't be suprised.

It's not the starter, it wants to turn over but it don't have that kick to get it going and that is what happen last time.

hope it isn't the fp. i agree it should last a lot longer than 2 yrs. i just did a tune up one one car and the alt belt broke on the other. by some miracle the adjustment screw turned after a good soak in wd40 and i had the new belt on in about 30 minutes... but yeah - sometimes when it rains it drenches!

my tire popped clean off like three months after i moved on my own... than a couple of other series of unfortunate events...but it is still fun being single than being settled in a situation bad for me...

You can get a top of the line fuel pump for about $80.... do it yourself.

no if his battery was good it would still start if it were the alternator it would run for a bit and then die. .....have you tried using like an additive like dry gas incase of a clogged line?

It might be different for trucks, I got a NOS for $80 for my PT cruiser when I had it.

Well if you have a Walmart near by you can take it to there Automotive shop they will test it for free and tell you what the problem is at least they do here. Call and confirm to make sure they offer it there. Hey it is much cheaper that way had my truck checked out that way when I had it. They checked the Alternator and the Battier for me did not cost anything for them to check it. And I did not have them fix it either. Mine was the Alternator my son replaced it in a matter of minutes.
