anyone else out there played role playing games like d&d or anything whats your take on them do you still play ect ect....

I don't play table top RPGs any more, because I don't have a group to play with, but I still own some of the books.

i played D&D for a little while a few years ago, i havent played recently though

i remeber shadow that game was pretty fun.

I like Prison Guard and Inmate. Oh wait...you didn't mean that kind of.....

I used to play d&d back in the 90's. It has sort of an evil undertone to it, so I don't play anymore. I have known some really crazy people that played it though and took it all too seriously.

an evil undertone really must have had an intersting gm. when we would play any of them most of the time we were the good guys fighting evil unless we were playing evil characters lol

Yeh, the GM was my bf at the time and he was actually CRAZY!!! Needless to say, I was with him for 3 months an never talked to him again! LOL

yeah when people take it to seriously thats when it stops being fun. i have been playing games with the same group for a long time and really its just a chance to use the imagination for us and just escape the mundane . my favs right now are werewolf the apocolypse i know theve come out with a newer version but the game was more to do with the telling of a story and mood .and rifts by paladium books wich was like a hi scifi and fantasy all rolled in apocolyptic earth.lot a cool pictures too.

I haven't played D&D in years.

Had quite a few of those 3 day marathon sessions though.
