yeah so i was at my buddies the other day and he happened to be watching the simpsons and he pulls out the like complete collection of dvds i like the simpsons and all but im a much biggger faimly guy fan i mean theres only so far you can take a tv show and the simpsons have beeen around since i was a kid so let me know wich is better

Not being a huge tv watcher, I was just recently introduced to family guy and I'm hooked.

The Simpsons are better and always will be! That show is an Icon! Possibly in the Cult realm.

I like Family Guy but it is directed at adult humor and some times is really stupid.

The humor of both is priceless.

The Simpsons are officially the longest running TV show in American history (tied with Gunsmoke this year I believe), and have a library of side splitters like no ones business. My favorite is when Homer goes to Krusty's Clown College.

Family Guy, shoot you can come in halfway through an episode and still laugh the rest of the way. The sidebars (Such as when Peter says "Like the time I was ____") fantastic. The pure irreverance of the show makes me just laugh.

Yeah, a marathon, leave your sides hurting for a month!!

i think everything seth mcfarlane touches turns to comedy gold hes jsut damn funny hes got a n allstar cast fro faimly guy adam west , alex borstien, ellains boy friend from sienfeild plays joe , and seth green im a big robot chicken fan theres no teling what theyll do next its a fresh brand of humour aimed at an adult audiance ..........just good tv

IMO, the Simpsons have dropped off somewhat in the past few years, and have become less and less funny to me. so i'm gonna have to go with Family Guy on this one!
