Who is old enough to remember metal lunchboxes and no backpacks? ME I remember they came with the termos that still had glass..we were taught to always shake it before pouring...

Came back to CA from NE to attend 5th Grade with plaid pants and a Six Million Dollar Man lunch box. Evidently NOT COOL! Got OPs and brown bags quick...................and please, no one say how unimportant it is to be cool.....'78 10yo Cali.....pure survival.

I had the following Batman Pac Man He Man Scooby Doo The Smurfs Ahhh. Those were the days. I remeber making sure my Mom packed my lunchbox as full as she could get it. Usually a sandwich, fruit (grapes, orange, apple..etc) and some candy...and chips. Nowadays these kids want snackables, or tofu. WTF????

Does carring around a potatoe sack count? Yeah... I remember those metal lunch boxes. I think I had a Davey Jones, or was that David Casidy lunch box . I also had one of those glass thermos that allways broke when you dropped them. I remember getting hit in the head with a metal lunch box too by some bully. Ahhhhhh elementary memories! Those were the days!
