I had plastic lunchboxes...........so EMBARRASSING!!! BRIGHT ORANGE!!! But I do remember having the purple Donny Osmond lunchbox......with matching thermos!!! Ok Im old

I was the era of the plastic lunchbox but the biscuit tin box (the big ones you see at xmas) is still commonly used here today!! Oh and the ponjer as well (metal jug for drinking out of)!!

Hey...I did that for years...and we had to take the bag back home to use the next day...it was HOT stuff when we got metal lunch boxes for Christmas one year
