Back when I was a kid we had Alfred Hitchcok .....he had a series of odd shows every week the one I remember the best was the one the wife killed her husband with a frozen leg of lamb and cooked the evidence.....she told the Police who were there investigating she was suppose to have a dinner party and put the lamb on to cook while she ran to the store and came back and found he was dead.Fed the cops the lamb so it wouldn't go to waste and one cop asked for the bones for his dog and all the while was discussing what the murder weapon could have been.

I saw one called "Street Trash" that was horrific. Gore beyond description and kind of a weird BDSM angle. Do a search, it will pop up.
Rose I love Hitchcock! |

Rose I love Hitchcock! street trash! that movie was hilarious. especially the part where they were throwing the guy's penis around on the bus. how about "demons" that was more gross than scary. |

"Demons"? I will need to look. I think sometimes I honestly like watching really awful stuff. Street Trash was kind of so bad it was funny. Wasn't it that director from New Zealand that did the "Lord of the Rings" flicks later? Street trash was probably like one of his first films, possibly even film school stuff.
Oh wait, i just looked, "Street Trash" was by a guy named Jim Muro who I am confusing with Peter Jackson. HOWEVER, Peter Jackson made some NASTY horror films also. I mean terrible stuff. A guy getting chewed alive in a lawn mower but also in that realm of so horrendous its funny. Thats why I confused them, similar styles |

i cant believe none of the gorehounds here mentioned Cannible Holocaust! classic 70's flick!
others: Battle Royale- a japanese flick set in the near future. every year, a 9th grade class is kidnapped by the government and flown to an island. they are all given weapons and are fitted with explosive collars. in 3 days, if they dont kill eachother off until there is 1 survivor, the collars explode and kill all who remain. Oldboy- a korean flick about a man who is imprisoned in a room for 14 years without a reason. he goes a bit crazy, and is released one day, and goes on the warpath to find answers |

JAY AND SILENT BOB STRIKE BACK

That seems so innocuous though? Are we talking horror specifically?

you've ever seen? I recently started watching "Live Freaky, Die Freaky." It's so weird, and offensive for no reason. It lacked substance. But it did make the puppet sex in Team America seem like an episode of Sesame Street. Cabin Fever. People's skin falling off...just...ewww. |

Anything Harmony Korine (Kids, Gummo, Julien Donkey-Boy)
Anything Todd Solondz (Welcome to the Dollhouse, Happiness, Storytelling, Palindromes) For low budget unnecessary violence and super gore, Troma flicks are where it's at. (Class of Nuke 'Em High, Toxic Avenger, Redneck Zombies) |

It's old and obscure, but check out "A Kentucky Fried Movie". It has numerous small flicks in one. Best is "A Fist Full of Yen".

Silent Hill. Liked the movie, but to most who don't know the game, it was probably weird to them. And the scene where the cop gets burned alive was pretty tense.
