Do you drive a car, use plastics, watch TV, have a cellphone, use a computer (obviously yes), eat meat, eat vegetables, ever flown on a plane?

HOW DARE YOU, YOU ARE KILLING US ALL!

Ridiculous, the world is not about to end, to think us puny humans have any real impact on this planet that it cannot deal with is a huge superiority complex issue. It could wipe us all nearly out in a few days if it chose to.

I love when nature gets pissed off and starts throwing random calamities at idiots. Keeps them on their toes. Most of them anyway.

I just had a pothole get thrown at me when I was driving down my street the other day, damn Mother Nature's been pissed at me for weeks now. She has it out for me I swear. I may just take her to court and sue for damages, or at least get a restraining order.

I posted the first quarter profits for EXXON the last time you said that.
May 1, 2008 Exxon reported,

"ExxonMobil's first quarter net income was a record $10,890 million, up 17% from the first quarter of 2007. Earnings per share were up 25% reflecting the impact of the continuing share purchase program. Higher crude oil and natural gas realizations, driven by record worldwide crude oil prices, were partly offset by lower refining and chemical margins, lower production volumes and higher operating costs.

I guess you didnt see this when you looked sailor!
That's ok, Like you said,
You like to debate using facts and figures!

FIRST QUARTER HIGHLIGHTS
-- Record first quarter net income was $10,890 million, up 17% from the first quarter of 2007.

-- Earnings per share were up 25% to $2.03 reflecting strong earnings and the reduced number of shares outstanding.

-- Spending on capital and exploration projects was $5.5 billion, up 30% from the first quarter of 2007.

Sure wished I lost money like that!

I wonder why they all of a suden they began spending some of their capital on oil exploration?
Didnt Bush just bring up the idea a few weeks ago?
They must be mind reader down there in TEX.

Are you kidding? We're one of the few countries with environmental laws in place. They aren't perfect, but places like China have no such laws at all. I have to wonder where you are getting your information from...

Exxon stock is down nearly 10 points since a year ago. All you need to do is go to Yahoo Finance and look it up to see it. 92 to 82.

And their stock has what to do with their earning? They can still make a profit and their stock can go down because of "projected" losses. That's how it works.

Wrong!

What I reported, if you'll look, is straight off their corporate web-site. Those are Exxons own figures.

Sorry they dont agree with your statement, but those are the facts.
Those figures are from the real world!

Yes yes, but I'm talking to Fanta and others who argue that all those who own Exxon stocks are going to get super rich because we are stealing oil in Iraq and with high oil prices (like they have real control over it). The fact is those big wigs in government, business, or wherever they be that supposedly own these stocks and are getting super wealthy as it goes through the roof is just not true.

Exxon is getting wealthy, like they weren't already (how dare private business make profit, whose profit margin is like 10% and one of the lowest of all business), but those who hold stock in it are not.

From last year or last quarter? Not that it really matters since it's all based on projections anyway.

Is this a personal insult because you have nothing of fact to offer? Yes, yes, I believe it is!

See this is why a person cant have an intelligent factual debate with you young man!
You refuse to acknowledge the truth!
Even when the facts are presented for you! This is why I dont waste my time trying!

Enjoy your game of golf!drinker
