The Swiss have problems!

Growing by the day due to their sticking their head in the sand, and lets face it they wouldnt be able to defend themselves from much of an invasion!

Why do you think this is a joke?

1)Spend the money on a well-trained defence force
2) They dont have terrorism problems
3)Because they dont invade

They have everything they need and want.
Everything has order, and is orderly.
The Swiss are respectful and law-abiding.

Invading the Swiss would a disaster for whoever did it.
The Swiss have an army of 3 million.
They are a country surrounded by two of Europe's most densely populated countries and have very close ties to three quarters of Europe.
Plus, and this is the major factor, overwhelming the cities would have to be done from the air and it would take an enormous effort.
Also dont forget they house some of the world's secrets in terms of money in the banks.

But no one would be mad enough to take on the Swiss anyway.

I guess since the Canadians are fighting along side of the Americans that makes you shameful and disgraceful as well?

As they have elsewhere in Europe, Islamic radicals are making inroads in Switzerland. Last month, Swiss officials announced the arrests of a dozen suspects who allegedly conspired to shoot down an Israeli airliner flying from Geneva to Tel Aviv. In a related case, a North African man has been charged with organizing a plot from Swiss soil to blow up the Spanish supreme court in Madrid.

In an intelligence report completed in May, the Swiss Federal Police reversed previous assessments that the domestic risk of terrorism was nearly nonexistent. The report concluded that Switzerland had become "a jihadi field of operation" and predicted that terrorist attacks were "an increasing possibility."

"It would be dishonest to say that these groups are ready to act in Europe but that Switzerland is an island and that these groups could not be active in Switzerland, too," Jean-Luc Vez, director of the federal police, said in an interview here in the Swiss capital. "It is very, very important for us to say this to the Swiss politicians and the Swiss people."

One of soldiers was a 20 year old man from the St. Louis area.

The newspaper here said that he told his father that he didn't want to go because it was going to be a bloodbath. He knew that there was going to be an ambush. He was scheduled to return home to his base in Italy in about a week. He graduated from high school in 2005.
