Got the other refrigerator in. So nice to have a refrigerator that works. Even the light bulb works and the door closes right. And it didn't cost me a thing. My friend hauled it over here and helped me take out the old one.

Got a biscuit pan under it for when defrosts. Might have to get a larger pan. My friend, Brad was telling me there were two screws that hold the electric wires for each of the two heating elements and then a big nut end where the two elements pull out. have to get a garden hose to drain the hot water heater because when the heating elements come out so will the water. Going to try to get the parts and serieal numbers for the Rheem 40 gallon electric hot water heater and see if I can get some replacement parts.

Yup. I still have problems. Make it stop snowing. I have enough problems without all this snow. I have lost faith in compression fittings. They just can't handle all the pressure. So I am replacing the compression fittings with just regular pvc couplers. I mean they seem like a wise choice where one could just replace short sections instead of longer sections but that isn't what happens in reality. In reality they come apart. So that is why I don't have water, again. Marshall, my new sponsoree, beat on the bottom heating element of the 40 gallon Rheem hot water tank but it just wouldn't give. No problem replacing the top one. But there wasn't anything wrong with the top one. Brad told me if I have some hot water it is because the top one is okay. But the bottom is rust welded. The lime must have rust welded it. Any ways it won't come out. So I just have to get a new one; An electric hot water heater. I tried doing it the cheap way but that way didn't work. Back to the drawing board.

I have replaced the compression fittings with couplers. I have water except to the bathroom sink. The pretty refrigerator I got from a friend whose mother had replaced it with a new one so she didn't have to drain the pan I found out that she also must have replaced it because the bottom part didn't work. The top part or freezer works fine but now our milk is spoilt. So now I have two refrigerators that don't work and the money I put into fixing the hot water heater was another lesson learned since the the bottom element was rust welded. So I am going to get another refrigerator and hot water heater and hopefully learn why I stopped getting any water to the bathroom sink.

She is trying to help. She just paid $532.00 for the propane. $60.00 of that went to the leak test. It was a bad time to run out of propane. She got in touch with this guy through the papers who has a $100.00 refrigerator and he will haul it here. She offered to get a new one but it was my fault or misfortune to get the bad deal with got although it was free on the replacement refrigerator. It is hard to win for losing sometimes. I tried to get away cheap but that didn't work out. I guess I should be thankful that atleast we have water, electric, cell and our utilities. Not to mention, Internet and Satellite. If it wasn't for her getting the Internet we wouldn't have that, either. Just have to keep on keeping on, for now.

Another friend is offering us a refrigerator. Maybe this time our luck will be better.

It was a nice one. I hope yours was good. Got a text from my daughter. Today was popcorn day at the nursing home. My friend, Gook was sanding his Harley and fixing to get it repainted. But he wanted me to call him back Wednesday when he gets off work to bring the fridge over to me.

Having water problems, again. Kathy called Shipman's well service right by the Old Dillard's Settlement before you get to Mull and Buffalo River Point Lodge. They will be out here tomorrow and so will Gook with his refrigerator he is giving me. Gook said to call him when he gets off at 5pm. I found my cell phone at the church where I left it on the rock when I called Norman to let him know the church was having a pancake dinner so we would have to wait to have our AA meeting after the church had their shindig. He had my large print AA 12 by 12 book but it was paperback instead of hard cover like I ordered.
