longings anyone?

Hello to all on "The Barge" Hello skipper Fade, when are you dropping anchor at some tropical paradise?

I miss 1998/99. Not to mention the .89 cents/gal gas.

And I miss the commercial fishing in Alaska. It was the hardest manual laboring work of my life, but the whole experience that came with it...absolutely priceless. I'd do it again in a heartbeat if I could.

Great idea my dear .. If I am Skipper shall I make you my bartender to get tropical drinks for all those longing for peaceful moments in their lives?

Sometimes working hard physically is very rewarding .. that definitely can give you a feeling of accomplishment.

I do wonder if we will look back on the countless hours each of us spends online, or in front of TV's or playing video games .. or whatever your habit of choice is and regret the wasted time. hmmmmmmmmmm

As long as I do not have to wear a hula skirt...............those little spikes get right up my.............................

LOL .. must be why I'm enjoying my glass of chilled wine so much right now eh?

I can't wait to embrace and love on grandkids......and heaven and looking into the loving face of the savior....oh yea....that would be good.

I've been a slacker. I admit it.

Having just gotten home from vacation... my longings are for my family. The ocean, the safety of mommy and daddy.

I long for when I was twelve and my biggest problem was missing a TV program or hating my math homework. I would hug my mom and she'd hold me in her arms and I'd feel better about everything. I miss that wonder and naivetee and blissful ignorance.

Amazing how relative suffering is though. Back then it was larger than life .. that problem we had.

Now ............... I can't find a piece of paper large enough to write the issues




Well actually I consider myself blessed compared to so many of my friends ..

I'm longing to see a long lost friend of mine, my best friend from high school. We've been out of touch for awhile now. It was so freaky too. We acted like brothers. Most people thought we were.

Yes, true. It could always be worse. I also long for those moments just after my son was born and I loved him like I thought my heart would explode. I had never felt that way before. Combined with this tremendous humbled feeling (as I was so ignorant) I was like a child and finally a woman all at once and those first few months were so joyful.

Not that they still aren't with him, but the first two to three months as a first time parent were without measure....

Is there any way you canfind him? That's so sad ... have you researched him?
