Perfection, no... that would be too boring. It would just be nice to find someone with faults I can more than tolerate

Seeing my own imperfections
 more clearly the older I get , the less I demand perfection from others.  I have become less tolerant, however, of basic character flaws...people who are dishonest, disloyal, selfish, bigoted, coercive or deceitful  . We all are guilty of any/all of those things now & then...but I find those flaws the most difficult to over-look repeatedly.

I am a perfectionist, but I do not expect anything from anyone. Perfection can never be obtained, but like Faith, Hope, and Love... The very things that are looked at as "Perfect".... The only way to get close to them is to practice them. Love that! Well said! I, myself, am a perfectionist. I always strive to do my very best and expect others to do their best as well. What I can not tolerate is incompetence! |

Perfection is in the eyes of the beholder I'm not perfect and don't expect perfection. Just expect one to have common sense and know how to use the mind that they were gifted with.
