I spent the past 5 years in a city and was with one man. Only about 3 times did another man tell me I was pretty or make me feel pretty. I left that city when the man I loved withdrew his love.

I moved to be near my sister in a small town.

Lordy above, i seem to be the best thing here since sliced bread. This move has been great for my ego and my self esteem. In the past 6 mos i have been asked out no less than 20 times. Of course none of them have interested me but, thanks to them i still feel like a desirable woman.

Try being 32 and never married. I don't really date. Actually, I haven't really allowed myself to date. I think that's why I'm here. My kiddo just turned 8 and I haven't dated since she was born. It could be a protective thing, but I honestly think it is the fact that I haven't made time. 30's is a great time in a woman's life (so I've heard from many women in their 80's). I think that at this age, we become more comfortable in our skin. Our true beauty comes out.

Hey that's something in common. I'm also 32, never married. No kid though. I didn't date any in high school, some in college. Very sporadic since then, although things have been occurring more often of late.

I had dated a bit before the kiddo came into my life. It's been wierd thinking that I will be 33 in a few months and everyone around me is married or with someone long term.
