Honestly I would question the one that told you that and find out who actually said it. For we all know that the ones that really have a drinking problem hide it they don't advertise it shshsshh. Tell them to get a life go have a drink and sit on the bottle   cheers Tx well put

I guess it comes from perspective. I have met people who SAY they only have a beer now and then but once you live with them you discover that they drink themselves into oblivion every night. So to the drinker they only drink on occasion but to the observer it is a whole different picture.
I see nothing wrong with a beer now and then. I drink probably three or four times a year. But I do have a problem with an alchoholic in denial in a serious relationship. No offense intended here at all. Not saying anyone has a drinking problem just speaking from past personal experience. It depends on the personal perspective. |

Being judgemental on here is called having standards. It means you don't have to ask questions, despite the majority of the profiles saying 'ask me anything'. for a dating site, alot of people are to afraid of wasting there time getting to know people, and the reasons behind things. It provides me with hours of endless amusement. It's far easier to skip a profile then to ask about the picture(s).

This is just a guess .But perhaps they think because you chose to use a pic of you drinking. That you are very proud of the fact that you drink. And a person that proud of it does it to much or to often. I should live in Europe.

And didn't ask me personally. It was a comment made to someone else. I DO have high standards. Having a beer with pizza, or when shooting pool, or on a hot afternoon is no big deal. Having a glass of wine at night is even encouraged by drs..yep. BUT .. I've also seen on here where a person will not even consider getting to know a person just because they have a beer bottle in a pic with them .. for goodness sakes
