well if you'd read the whole piece I started with it was about me .. but point taken .. I just think because someone has a pic drinking liquor it no more determines they aren't fun than someone on a jet ski or dancing .. IMHO

IMHO :: re-reads your first post:: damn.. sorry! i missed that somehow, but yeah, no i don't see anything wrong with the pics i saw on your profile.. i HAVE seen quite a few profiles on here that have the person ( man or woman) drunk as a skunk in EVERY picture.. ANYWAY i agree with what you said about the fun aspect.And thanks for actually participating in the convo. a lot of people ignore me when don't spout their own opinion back out to them. Good to see that you're still open minded even when you have been judged the way you were.

I have no problem with people having a drink or two now and again, but to be honest with you it does give me pause when looking at their pics. It gives me wonder if they drink too much. Having been in an alcoholic relationship and having alcoholic family members makes me worry too much maybe. I am most likely not going to respond to a man that has a pic of him drinking in his main pic. That may not seem fair...but it does have it's merits to be like this. I am afraid to fall into that pit again. It was pure hell. I mean pure HELL. So, like I said...a drink or two once in awhile is okay....just not everyday or even every other day. Drinking with company having a little fun is all good, but drinking to get drunk when having one....over again is not fun to be around. It has harmed me and many others. I am not judging any of you. I was just explaining my view of it. Kat

Maybe the person does not like alcohol or maybe the person had a drinking problem and now just does not wish to meet those who drink or maybe.. ..............many other factors . Who knows ?. .

In one of your profile pics? Yanno, I love these forums. And I love this community of people. But I got wind today that some JSH'ers think if a person (male/female no matter) has a pic w/a beer (or any drink I would think) on their profile that the person has a DRINKING PROBLEM? or that it would be a deal breaker for a date .. LMFAO!!!! WTH is THAT ??? Now if I meet you in a bar, and you are holding a beer, or glass of wine, or mixed drink or whatever......that's PERFECTLY normal. But, if I have a pic on my profile of me drinking same said beer, I 'could be' considered as having a drinking problem? Or if we mention here or there in threads that we LOVE wine or beer or whatevaaaaaaaaaah .. geesh since WHEN did we get sooooo boring on this site? Does someone wanna explain the logic of this to me .. and to take it one further .. tell me WHY people are so intent on JUDGING another human being by one single photo? Heck .. I took the pic I have on here as a joke for "Happy Hour" threads .. pulls up a chair .. sits down & waits for intelligent conversation to begin Let me pull up a chair beside you darlin, i gotta hear this as well
