Oh hell no! Look at it this way, there isn't any "think" about it. If you do not take action this will continue to happen to others. How would that feel on your conscience? Not only did he violate you, but he tried to scare you into thinking there is nothing you can do about. On the contrary! You have rights! And he violated them. If you do not stand up for yourself for what is right, you could be psychologically scarred for the rest of your life. Doing something about will at least give you a sense of dignity. If you do not do something about it quick, it will be too late. Talk to a lawyer. Trust me, it's for the best. For you and others. Afraid or not, you must stand up for yourself and your rights. Proof or no proof... The customer is always right. Remember, he works for you, not the other way around. This sicko needs to spend some time behind bars. AND pay you for the emotional stress he put you through.

i asked him if i could see another doctor in the same practice, but he refuses, he says im the only doctor you can see here, no one else in this practice.

Since when do you need "his" permission to see someone else? Who cares if he says you can't, screw this guy, he's not a God for goodness sake.

he said i cant else he would throw me out the practice. i guess hes scared ill tell another doctor what hes done.

Yep, scare tactics, another red flag. Forget him, just do it Deb!

i need to think on this one.

What's there to think about? You know what's going on, there's no mystery here.

i dont mean that, i mean can i cope with it, with all the crap im going through right now.

If you ask me, doing something about this would be one less thing to have to worry about, since there'd be more doctor's office trauma like you've been experiencing.

Whether you are with BUPA,HSA or The National Health,it is entirely YOUR prerogative to see a doctor of YOUR choice,it could be at that practice or any other town/county you choose ( providing there are vacancies for new patients and your postal code region!)

Get a copy of your medical records and go to a completely different facility. You know there are lawyers that will give you advice. They will also get the medical records for you. New doctor, new facility, start a lawsuit. Also, if it were me, I would at least talk to a lawyer as soon as possible. They can help you get a new doctor. Ooooooh I'm steamed! explode Please do something. I know I don't really know you, but what I do know is that you're a very sweet person and I care about you. Don''t let this go.. Or send me a plane ticket and I will give this doctor something to be afraid of!!!,

The write a letter to the manager of that practice, outlining your treatment at the hands of this sycophant, then request that you be moved to another doctor( providing you are in one of those "multi-practice" surgeries)If this does not work write to the nearest doctors surgery manager in the next (available/nearsest)one to where you live
