But you're still my brother Now sharing our parents Your father and my mother My life has been blessed By having you near And all of the memories I hold so dear When this fight started You were merely a man That believed in winning And doing all you can Now you have seen God's there on your side You're fighting now With Him as your guide You never give in You just keep going With Him on your left There's no sign of slowing You've taken up arms In the pages of The Book For strength and comfort God's word is where you look I'm bound to you By family ties I believe in your decisions Knowing that they are wise I will stand beside you Through all the long days Knowing what you do Is because of God's ways For God's sweet healing And His will I will pray I will love you Andy Till my dying day So you understand, my brother has been battling cancer for the last five years and found out yesterday that it has spread to his liver, lungs, bones, brain, and is in his blood. He stopped all treatment yesterday and his faith is that God's will is what is best and he needs nothing else. When he was diagnosed they gave him 6 months and it has been five years and he has gone to work everyday and still does so anything is possible with God. Please pray for God's will in this for him and our family...

My prayers for you, your family, and your brother in this tough time. Its never easy (my grandfather had lung cancer that spread and opted for home hospice) but family and God can make it manageable and provide comfort.

Cherish the blessing of time. Last week i was told my dad died. He fought pancreatic cancer for a year before it attacked his brain and finally killed him. My mom is struggling but knows he beat the odds and will walk with God. Vicky, i want your friend/brother Andy to live a long and free of pain life. I hope God in his infinite wisdom will bless his soul and heal his body and continue to carry him. My love to him and his family and to you Vicky.
