My thoughts and prayers to you and your brother
I know how hard the treatment of cancer can be on your body and spirit. been thru Chemotherapy myself for colon cancer,Colitis & have been HIV positive since 1983 after recieving infected blood from a hospital, yes the hospital. I am currently undetectible meaning they can't find the virus in my blood. After years of treatment & some pretty hellish days the lord was in my corner the whole time. I've learned to stop & smell the roses and appreciate every little thing that comes my way especially after being in the death bed 3 times literally given 1 week to 1 day to live. my family has always been bewildered on how i manage to smile in the face of illnesses they find fearful. I tell them God only gives the strongest challenge's to the strongest people or souls. I take pride in standing tall & Solid in the midst of a hurricane of problems. my secret! Gods hand is holding me up from behind. So from me to you cherish every moment you spend with your Brother Good & bad. I believe we all have our day circled on the calender of life. What we do with our days up to that day. Is a power thats been gifted to us by the good Lord himself. Their will be some rough days just try & keep your spirits strong.

Just goes to show that doctors don't always know what they're talking about. God had embraced him and kept him going. Prayers for Andi and your family sweetie.

I'm sorry to hear about your step brother Vicki, i'll pray for him and your whole family. When my dads cancer spread like that, it wasn't to much longer before he passed. I'll pray for god to comfort you all and, for your brother to have a speedy recovery. Bless you Vicki, if theirs anything i can do let me know. I'm not very good with these kind of situations, as you can probably tell.

He stopped all treatment yesterday and his faith is that God's will is what is best and he needs nothing else. When he was diagnosed they gave him 6 months and it has been five years and he has gone to work everyday and still does so anything is possible with God. Please pray for God's will in this for him and our family... I will PRAY for him and this showing of your love for him in your words here. Would HONER any family members pride and heart in them all.. Very loving words and great poem of pride in him...

My heart felt thanks and admiration to each of you for the prayers and support you have given to me and my family!! I sent this link to my mother and she has passed it on to Andy and he was moved deeply. He is a fighter and a compassionate man and wants all of you to know that shared he is sending prayers of thanks up for each of you.

((((Kimba)))) Thank you both! Just a little update... Andy is still getting up going to work everyday and is staying positive. He goes to church every Sunday and is a Sunday school teacher for the little ones. We have a prayer group for him every week and sometimes more often if he requests it. Andy has seen this thread and comes to look now and then. He sends his thanks is is amazed at the range of people that have seen this and responded. There are people all over the world praying for him! Thanks again to all of you!!!

My mom was given 6 months to a year to live, and she has out lived the doctor's expectations. God certainly has his own time table. Hugs...

Quick note to update you all on this wonderful man and to ask for prayer...
I found out last night that my brother has an infection and is battling like crazy but there is not much they can give him that is strong enough to help him overcome it. Since he stopped treatments about a month ago he is not doing well and has been told that there is nothing more the doctors can do for him. He had to quit working yesterday and his kidneys are failing. I know God has great things in store for him so please pray that he finds those things with the least amount of pain possible and with all of God's speed. I can't pray for his healing as I see God's plan is to take him home but I do pray for it to be quick and merciful so his suffering can end. I only want him to have peace while he is still with us. My thanks and love to all of you!! |

What quiet strength this man carries with him every where he goes!!
I saw Andy on Saturday and he is really having a hard time. He couldn't stand by himself yet he still smiled, he couldn't sit down by himself yet he still joked, he is in pain and can't share it with anyone else yet he still found a way to joke... He told me he knows that God carries him and he is just trying to lighten the burden and if Jesus can bear the stripes for him shouldn't he at least do as much as he can to make those stripes sting a bit less? This man is a true blessing in my life and a miracle to this earth. Please keep praying for him |
