what do you think on illegal immigration and more specifically the
recent story about a mother who was her legally and her 8 yr. old son
came in illegally because he had not seen her in four yrs. and his
aunt(who was taking care of him)was hospitalized, now he could possibly
be deported?

WELL IN CERTAIN CASES ITS OK BUT THOUSANDS OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRATE PASS
INTO OUR COUNTRY EVERY WEEK!! I REALY DONT LIKE THIS IF WE WERE TO
DEPORT THEM OUR ECONOMY FOR OUR CITIZENS WOULD BE MUCH BETTER AND
UNEMPLOYMENT FOR REAL AMERICANS WOULD BE A THING OF THE PAST..

I know what you mean King..in Canada we get too many people that come
here just to give birth cuz they know they can't be deported because
their child is considered to be a citizen cuz he/she was born here..what
a load of crap..the way I see it..it don't matter where ya born..yer
nationality should be whatever yer parents are and if they ain't
citizens of the nation yer born in..then neither are you

i don't have a problem with legal immigration but i agree with animals
point about carrying over the parents citizenship to the child and i
agree with everything that panterafan said. if you are an illegal, there
is a draw on the economy because they are taking advantage of services
that are provided through tax money but are not contributing to the
system. if they were paying taxes i would not give a shit if their kids
went to school here.

All I can say is...Have you ever been to Mexico and seen the condition
that these poor people live in? If I lived in Mexico, you bet your sweet
arse I would come to America too! I went to Cancun and then went on a
tour to the poor part of Mexico...trust me, you have no clue...I say, if
they are here paying taxes and not causing problems..leave them alone!
They are sending money home trying to help their children, plus they are
helping boost our sales too. I think everyone should live their own
lives and who cares if someone is here illegally or not....and yes I am
a US citizen :)

All good points and I aggree with them. It's just that it's unfair to us
true citizens. Single moms like me who needs a job to care for my own
children but, yet, have to pay the way for all the other free loaders to
have a life and I mean some damn good ones too. But, what pisses me off
is when you call say...a local business and get a voice mail... would
you like this in english... Hell yeah I would! I know this is America
and the land of the free but, come on! This is why we one of the richest
nations on earth is suddenly becoming sooooo poor. Why feed all the
other starving people in the world when we can't even feed our own!

Honestly, most of those "spanish" people are not on welfare!! So how do
you pay for their healthcare?
I understand that you get upset about wanted to know if you want to
speak in spanish or english, but let me just say this, if you are a
nurse that speak spanish...you make a lot more money!!!

alot of people that are here illegally don't have a job where they take
taxes out of your check. trust me there are ways around getting
healthcare without being on wellfare. like i said if they pay taxes i
don't think there would be a problem.
i am talking about all illegal immigarants and how many illegal
immigrants do you know that have a job in the us as a certified nurse
because you aren't even supposed to hire someone who does not have a
visa, work permit or green card.

Sorry I was talking about someone who is a citizen for the nursing
job...it does pay more if you can speak spanish. So if you are
bi-langual you make a lot more money....so in other words, that does
help a single mom :)

then ur no citizen of america, there for u don't belong here. NOW, on

it. So, I'D have them do a full dna test to prove it! I guess it just
because my aunt married one that was already fukn' married in mexico.
That's where he would send his checks to! SO while were getting poorer,

AWWW they do say that some spanish guys do marry American women but they
are already married. I have heard about that.
All I know is that I have a lot of spanish friends that work every
single day, they do not get any type of "aid" and they buy American
things. Yes they do have family in Mexico and they do send money
home...and if I had family back there--I would be sending money home
also! But, if I worked 60 hours a week it would be my choice to do
whatever with my money!

i'm not talking about people who are here to work and take care of their
family. are your friends here legally or are they here illegally and if
they are here illegaly the chances are that most illegals don't pay
taxes and if they don't pay taxes, people that do hace to pay for the
scooling, healthcare, etc.
i'm not talking about immigrants. immigrants are vital to the country
but it's the issue of whether they are here legally

My friends are here illegally. Yes they do pay taxes! Yes they do pay
for their own healthcare..they do have insurance, they have drivers
license, credit cards, they have it all. It is not hard to do at all!

They are here to support their families, they are not here just to
sponge off of the government. They support theirselves and their
families back home! It is very easy to get all the documents they need
to get jobs, trust me, its very cheap to get all of that stuff

alot of people that are here illegally don't. my comments weren't

life for their family. that is a repectable person in my opinion. i was
only commenting on the economical strain that some(not all)illegal
immigrants place on the citizens. i don't stereotype people and i don't
care if they come into the country because i do think it makes the
country stronger ..if they pay taxes

I agree with you!! Plus the thing is, they do not get the taxes that
they pay in, like a tax return...well I am sure you know why :) So all
that money stays in the state money and in the federal money...so trust
me, a lot of money is made from them!

Short on time so I skipped a few replies. I am in the middle some where
on this topic. It is to hard for mexicans to come here legally. Then
when one of these illegals breaks the law WE pay for them to be
imprisoned and released right back here. I know one who have been caught
5 times for DUI. Since he has no ID he has been put in jail under 2
names. The state finally caught this the last time and deported him. He
was back in 2 weeks. He has fathered 4 kids that I know of(2 with my
ex's half sister) and has never paid any child support or even helped to
pay for one diaper. This one is nothing but a burden on us. The other
illegal I know is a great guy. He has done his best to learn english. He
is working 7 days a week all summer but has just today had his first day
off since spring. He goes to the store buys his beer and goes home to
drink and has never cost the rest of us a cent. He sends over half his
pay to mexico on a bi weekly bases for his parents and son.

Here is why the USA needs these workers. How many of you will work for
$6.50 an hour with no over time and work 10 hours a day Mon-Fri and 6
hours a day on Sat and Sun no matter the weather outdoors?

This is a job that even many of the other illegals will not take. I
believe he needs to be rewarded with a green card for his efforts to
better his life. The other sorry dead beat father which has been nothing
but problems for us needs to be hung/electric chaired because we
deported him and he came back. We later found out he is wanted in mexico
under his real name for some kind of crime.
