Yes. Most definitely yes. I've even seen this with my own eyes as a child.

no, I don't think so. I think people can learn from their mistakes, especially when they see how badly they have hurt the other person because of it.

It depends on the person. I know a couple of people who cheated, asked forgiveness from the spouse, and both couples have gone on to have strong, healthy marriages. I also know the 'once a cheater, always a cheater' kind.
