HERE - I just cut a huge bunch of lilacs from my bushes. They won't last much longer and I wanted their fragrance to linger in the house for a couple more days.

But I'll share with all of you. It won't take all the stink away from the words and the hate filled steam that permeated here yesterday, but maybe it will offer promise for something better.

What happend to the newcomer? Roberta? I don't remember her at the moment. screen name, I hope they didn't chase her away. If she comes here while I'm gone today - someone offer her some of these lilacs - ok?

Roberta (C.Peace) is still around, and contrary to popular opinion, it is not Alex.

I have just spoken to Alex on the phone from the Netherlands to here in Egypt.
It is very upsetting that some "know-nothing" starts bringing her personal life to this place when there is no where for her to defend herself.

The comments about the innoculation of babies and the requested proof of her involvement went way beyond the normal rubbish that these people bring up.

There are secrets out there that could be brought up about these detractors, but they are kept as just that - secrets. Things told in confidence and not divulged.

But there should be shame and disgust in equal amounts from and for these people, for the christian ideals they so proudly hold up, are not actually ones they follow.

Someone once said "Great minds talk about ideas, medium minds talk about things, little minds talk about persons" and it seems to be a worrying trend here, from the little minds, to attack people that are no longer part of the site to get a rise from their friends who are still part of it.

It also seems that there are people on this site, who have reinvented themselves, that feel the need to try and disparage other people who we have had contact with.

There are two sides to every story.

You have expressed yourself very well and you have said not word I don't agree with. I would, however, add one more comment and that is this.

There are many things a Christian can be forgiven, it seems. Chararcter attacks, battery, stealing, murder, divorce, but they can't be forgiven for using stem cells from discarded embryos or for loving another of the same-sex.

So those who were guilty yesterday of defiling this site with their foul breath, will come back and they will be forgiven.

But this in not a court of law and just because the JUDGES have stricken the threads from this site, the words have not gone from our memory.

I certainly hope there are some Christian here, that NOW understand why their label is not a desirable one to be linked with.
