I think its normal to not like everything the person likes.....so why lie about it? 
it is nice to try and show intrest in things that they have intrest in.........maybe not everything but you could to pretend to enjoy......say a football game if that is something the other likes to watch........or maybe long drives even if you think it's just a waste of gas and money
