When you first start dating, how many emails/phone calls/texts are too many for one day?

Any texts is too many. I am NOT into texting at all and turned down the plan on my phone.

I think the others, it is relative. I can't give an answer for what would be an individual situation. I do like daily contact, though.

Hey...if you are into the other person...none of it is ever too much.

No I meant a day. so far we are up to 5 text to me and 2 replies. We also talked a lot last night.

As long as you're looking forward to them and not dreading them, then it's just the right amount.

With the one that I've been talking to for two week's, he chat's with me before he leave's for work, call's me when he's on the road to work and , we either chat or talk on the phone after I get home from work. I like it that way. It show's me that he is interested in me. I finally met him Friday night then, I didn't hear from him. I thought, .......there goes another one! But, he hurt his ankle riding his bike. He called this morning. What a relief!

Depends on what kind of response(s) you're getting. To me short responses SOMETIMES translate into annoyance.For every attempt there should be answer - no answer - do not attempt again until you get one.

Myself I'm not into the text thing at all. Sorry once in a while is kewl but I would rather hear their voice instead. And as long as it brings a smile to your face it is never too much.

Well I think it's all a matter of opinion. Like I hate talking on the phone, if someone calls me it better be for a reason. My best friend calls me everyday and it is so annoying because he's just like, "hey man just callin' to see how things are goin'" Half the time I don't answer the phone...

well, hmmmmmmm......I would say maybe three calls a day. maybe four with a goodnight call. 4-5 texts a day and few e-mails.E-mail kind of is too impersonal at first while dating unless you met online. Hope this helps.

I usually call once and leave a voice mail. From there it's on her to call me back. If a few days pass and we're already dating (not the phase where I just got the number and am trying to get a first date), then I'll try calling again.

No call back after that and I'm gone for good. With technology, caller ID, voice mail, etc...the excuse "I never got your call" is totally bogus now.

this part is always the best part....also the main part that counts....your happiness.
