Is it that hard to find a woman out there that loves the old school
romance? A person that doesn't get frightened off by someone who really
cares? Is our society today so full of horrible, awful people (men) who
are only out there to take advantage and treat women like dirt that a
guy (like me) who really cares and really wants to find someone to treat
right that we can't? I find that trust isn't an issue anymore these days
'cause there just isn't any trust. Anybody who knows me or has been
talking to me lately knows what my rant is about, but it's not just for
me. It's for all those hard to find "gentlemen" out there that just
can't catch a break. When we find someone who we really connect with
that they get scared and run. It's hard to find real people these days
just for the fact that there have been so many women hurt by so many bad
men that the "good guys" do finish last! I apologize to all you women
out there that have been taken advantage of, hurt in any way, demeaned,
put down, abused...... the list could go on! I apologize for all those
guys that took away the "gentlemens" chance to show women how they
SHOULD be treated! I know that it doesn't mend your broken hearts, cover
your bruises or erase your memories but the next time a guy wants to be
genuine, just try to give him a chance. I know a chance was what hurt
you in the first place and I know that walls are put up to be your safe
haven. I'm not asking you to meet the first guy that says nice things to
you but if he's got that old school romance in his heart than I'm sure
he is genuine. Just ask him what colour the first flower he gives you
should be and you'll know. If he's been brought up right and he knows
about old school romance the answer is easy. It's not a damn red rose
for those idiots who think it should be. You don't love that person that
soon, you only love the idea of something new. A girl should be asked
what they like, what their favorite flower is and what their favorite
colour is! A florest is a good place to start for something to be built
around that specific flower she told you about. I am that old school
romantic gentleman and I am sick and tired of women running 'cause I
think they should be treated like gold. Be careful of those fakes, it'll
show through soon enough. It's all about you (women)! Yes I have a
florest, a hair dresser (not a barber), a salon that I go to to get
pedicures. manicures, tans, massages and I'm not gay! I just know what
beauty life holds and want to be right along beside it! So, next time
someone says your beautiful because of your looks, and not whats
underneath, then chances are he only wants in your pants. If he says you
are beautiful because of who you are and what you do, no matter what it
is, and only wants to know about you and never talks about himself
unless he's asked, then chances are he only wants to get into your
heart. It's a yes or no question that he won't ask for the answer to.
There's a lot of great guys out there looking to treat a women right.
It's time to help them finish first! Thanks for reading my rant!

HAS ANYBODY SEEN THAT MOVIE "OLD SCHOOL" ?

I think old fashion men are a dying breed and I miss having them in my
life, the greatest men I know are old fashioned.

I didn't think anyone believed in the *ole school* any more, but sure
would be nice if a lot more of it returned.

James that was a very beautiful rant at that. Yes I did read the whole
thing you have an Awesome heart and I do hope that you find that woman
you are looking for. One thing for sure the woman that captures your
heart will truly be blessed in more ways than one. You have a beautiful
soul and a good .

Thanks for writing that rant James. I admit, I'm one of them
ladies that turns and runs like heck when a guy tries to ask me for my
phone number or if he can meet me for coffee somewhere, and yes, there
are reasons for my running. But your rant is a good one and one that is
on a subject that I at least am trying to get myself to get past.

I'm not sure what I can say on why most women run, but I do know there
are a lot of guys out there that think women only learn about computers
so they can set up a sleazy webcam. ::shakes head::

Love the picture btw - looked at your profile earlier wishing you were
about 10 years older. Keep faith, there's a lady out there that either
wont turn and run, or that you'll know would like to know a guy cares
enough to follow her and ask for a second chance when she does run.
(Just no stalking, please, contrary to the old saying about no meaning
yes, when they say no flat out they usually mean it.)

(my paranoia starting to show yet? LOL)

Be patient and it will all fall in place. Seems impossible at times I
know, but she's out there. And when you do finally meet..........hang
on!! Should be the ride of a lifetime!! I can't hardly wait myself
sometimes.

Just gotta remember...........Don't wait for the one you can live
with.......wait for the one you can't live without!!

As many of you can see there are indeed the exact guys I was talking
about even putting themselves out there for all women to see who the
"bad" guys are. Way to go guys, you're pretty smart to talk about a
"movie" when something serious to ALL women is being talked about. A
note to all women, if a guy can't take a serious rant serious then he's
definetly NOT "old school". Take spay for instance.... Re-arrange the
letters a bit and you get sapy.. even better... add an 'ed onto the end
and you get spayed...exactly what should happen to guys like this! And
for you "gentlemen" who did appreciate that rant. Keep up the good work.

wowwwwwww chef,first let me say that i am very impressed with you, never
thought i would see a man your age put it all out there like you
did.that is awesome and some lady is going to be very lucky to get
you.as for the flowers..red-means love. the choice of flowers varys
according to your taste. i like roses,because they are sweet and
beautiful when they open in the morning.can't remember all the meanings
but i think it is white or yellow....meaning friends and friends
forever. hang in there and good luck.

Thanks. White is "in good taste" and yellow is friends for ever. I
belive that if you can't first be friends with someone then the love
will never work.
