I recently messaged a woman not of my race trying to get to know her better. She said she doesn't believe in interacial dating and most of society doesn't either. I wanna know what do Just Say Hi family thinks about this touchy subject and be honest. I have thick skin - MIKE

I think it's too each their own and not for anyone else to judge... If she doesn't want to date out of her race that's fine but I think it's an inaccurate statement to say "most agree" there are too many interracial relationships for that statement...

my mother told me since i was little that people are people and should not be judged by race or religion... and i still embrace that. it is a shame that ppl grow up thinking different and still embrace that type of attitude and beliefs.

i think society acceptance is growing, but many will still not understand. i think dating, love, etc., should be color blind. flowerforyou

I don't agree that most of society thinks this way. I think its a persons own preference who they date.

I can see why some people may think interracial dating can be difficult [culture shocks] but to say that society doesnt accept it or believe in it? Pshh. Its beautiful in my opinion. Last time I checked, I hadnt been banished from society yet...

I believe everyone has the choice to make their on decision.I never had the opportunity myself so I would not know what my answer would be.Now if she was hot and looked like Janet Jackson then yea.

Well, I am from a bi-racial family, have dated, married and have a bi-racial son. If you want to date outside your ethic group go for it....as for for what society likes or not, society is not living your life.......flowerforyou

dont mean to hijack this thread but are people aware with all that our ancestors have been thru in the past, no one is sure what their race consists of?
(added)
does it matter it's the person not the color of their skin?

Everyone is racist to some degree.
I'm always going to think something about someone just because of their race just like other people assume things about me.
When it comes to dating its the same way, but if you are both interested in each other that just means you are both on your "best behavior". Once that wears away the true feelings eventually show.
