A beautiful Mother's Day in blooming spring
Heart warming praises the children will sing Children are blessed with deep maternal love Beaming & radiant like heavenly stars above Tiny fingers & toes drawing lines into sand The children are shaped by Mom's loving hand Their hopes & dreams are inspired from thee Yearning for adulthood yet content and happy Her gentle embrace and my softly wiped tears With encouraging words she dissolves my fears A kiss upon the cheek to start out each day Her beaming smile as I'm running off to play She would patch me up when I'd skin my knee Just my lil boo-boo but she still trusts me She teaches me so much while I quickly grow I am sprouting too fast,well she told me so Mom's are usually happy until they see a bug Then I will run up to her and give a big hug She is looking down with a big smile for me So then my brave child has come to rescue me Starring upward at the beautiful white clouds So when I grow up it's time to make you proud Your words never fell in vain for I've learned Sometimes impatient because my spirit yearned Thee strongest bond I know is a Mother's love She is my guardian angel from heaven up above I want to fulfill these dreams she has for me Then 1 day she'll say I'm as proud as I can be Written by CyPoet 5/10/08
