I put my fish in a new tank about a week ago and ever since I put him in his new home he will not eat. It is like he is depressed or mad at me or something. I have come to enjoy Norman.
Any fish experts out there  How do I get Norman to eat?

He might of got shocked by the change in water temperature! is it warm enough?

As cute as it may be to personify a fish, it's not quite able to be depressed. What kind of fish is it? Where did you get the water for the new tank? When fish don't eat it's most often a parasitic infection.

my cockatiel was the same way when I got him a new house. No singing, eating or nothing, just sat on a perch so forlornly. Then, he got accustomed to it and was a happy bird again. Maybe fish are the same way....need to get accustomed to his new surroundings, unless he is sick or something.

if i knew anything about fish, mine wouldnt had died, i had a fish when i was little and i went to clean the bowl and there was no fish, it desolved some where, it was no where in site...

I did the tank like I have always done it. got the water from my bathroom tank added the water purifier and waited 24 hours before putting him in. |
