Up to a million homeless, think mother nature is trying to tell us something.

explode She is very unhappy. If the earth can shake off T-Rex and the Wooly Mammoth, how hard is going to be for it to shake us off too?

agree, we focus our strengths into most things, but in reality we are all helpless against natural forces like mother nature. She is wiping out the planet little by little.

While I'm far from a "global warming" alarmist at the same time, the earth has historically had periods of violent weather change. I'm sure we're not helping, but she can be an abusive, aggresive and altogether unforgiving mommy all the same.

mankind has evolved into an out of control virus, the earth as a living organism is merely trying to rid herself of the infection...too bad it was only 22,000.

This absolutely has to be Georg W. Bush's fault. Arrest him for manipulating mother nature now! No Justice No Peace!

Nope she is not saying anything outside of the normal. Mother nature is the most powerful force on this planet and she has her way no matter what we do.

now I know you're not referring to me as a hippy blushing whats a hippy

I started this post due to the massive loss of life. There are some that commented 22,000 was nothing, there are some that took the jovial route. I was just sharing the news.

Sympathizing with the families of loved ones lost and up to a million that are now homeless.

The earth is not mad. The earth has no feelings. Hate to break that news. This is just what happens from time to time. Its all about risk. Don't put your trailer in tornado alley. And if you live by the water make sure your house isn't made from cow manure and straw.

the earth may not have emotions but feelings I do believe it does

Property can be replaced, but 22,000 people can't!
Its criminal if you ask me!
