Apparently I just heard of the news that there is gonna be a NJ gas station strike. The complaint is that they are paying too much a barrel and not making their money back. I say.. SCREW EM... Their making it... They just wanna see what the non buyers or buyers are gonna do when they need gas to get to work... If Bush can't change the prices, what makes ya think the stations are gonna?!?!?!?!

I never understood the gas strikes myself. Not getting gas for one day isn't going to force them to lower anything. It'll get higher, might as well get used to it.

good luck with that !!! Similar to asking the country to go on a hunger strike.

I've been getting emails and text messages for the past two days saying they want to have a National Strike because of the gas prices.....they want to see everyone NOT buy gas on Friday May 2nd. Like that is really going to do any good.

THE ONLY WAY to fix the Gas Situation is to vote the Bastardo's in the Senate and Congress Out. get the Ones out Who Are Getting Rich From the Lobbyist's and That Should Fix things.

I'm going to find a way to make gas out of something we use on a daily basis.....something that can't be taken away from me....like urine. Gross, I know, but hey....they can't force me not to do that, now can they?

That would be great, then we could all get together and have pissing parties! Now that works...lol

I have watched some shows in the pass where people can run off cooking oil, yup cooking oil. To bad we couldn't get all cars to some how run off of cooking oil, I belive it was. Or even something else like air .

The bad part is Bush doesn't want to agree on anything not even with drawing the army from Iraq and all, I was watching some tv show that had some one I belive it was the white house speaker or something like that, any ways she was saying Bush is unwilling to come to any kind of agreement to get are troopes out of Iraq and even jobs and so much more.

This just goes to show you and every body else if MCcain get's in the white house he will follow Bush steps, this is going to spell trouble.

So what every body need's to do this November is vote for any body but MCcain.

That's all I have to say.

If people could affored to do it, not buy gas for a whole week and see if gas goes down at the pump. But no body is going to be able to do that one which is to bad.

Not really. Just go into the gas things we can buy at stores. Wouldn't have to fill up every day anyway. Because of the potent crap we ingest into our systems, it'll run longer than gas. See, already got it planned out...just gotta set it into motion

I say lets all not buy gas for one single day and i bet being that they will loose billions,, they will come to understand how it not only effects our pockets but the world..... somtimes it takes them to hurt to hear us loud and clear!

the only way it would work is to boy cot one brand at a time

dont buy any citgo till they are cheaper then dont by any shell till they lower to less than citgo

then no bp till they are lower than shell

but the apathy of the people will make it not work

You want to fix the price of gas? Don't take your IRS "stimulus," and then we can talk about step 2.

OK WarElephant. Serious question. How do you feel about McCain's and Clinton's support of, eliminating/reducing tax on gasoline, at least for the summer?

If it can be done for the summer, why not lower it NOW and keep it lowered? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Something like putting an item on sale at half price. So, why was it so high to begin with?
