God takes that pain away after you have the baby. A hormone is released, especially if you breast feed as soon as possible after birth. I've had three in a row, and the pain goes away once you have the baby. After that, you dont care about that pain cuz you have this bundle of joy to take care of and you just don't have the time to be screaming bloody murder like you were when you had him/her. Nature and God take care of that.

My last two babies, I didn't take any drugs to kill the pain. I gave natural birth and it did not hurt.

I had kidney stones, they said it was close enough. They were twins. Kidney stones hurt worse than gun shots, broken bones or child birth. |

I did the birthing classes and went natural. The doctors said it was a very easy first birth. I was in labor, hard labor, for about five hours and the minute I heard my son cry all thoughts of pain disappeared forever. Trust me when you hold your child you'll be changed forever and the pain will be a distant memory instantly.

Everyone knows woman are a stronger breed than men.....so that is why woman are mothers......anyway men are complainers ...it would interfer with their important things. Being a mother of 4 god yes it is painful...but the joy of knowing you created something so beautiful and wonderful makes it acceptable..... But one thing you never forget the pain....lol best you can do is pray they make you proud!

Well I was told at 3 months that I might have to have a C-section if the baby was too big due to my small pelvic bone and I ended up having one. The pain was bad once the drugs wore off, but OMG it was soooo worth it when I got to see my little girl. I remember that day so vividly and that was almost 10 years ago (she'll be 10 next month).
Every body is different and there is really no way to describe what child birth, contractions or anything that goes along with pregnancy, is like. You just have to experience it for yourself. I will say that 6 months after I had her, I developed gall stones and had to have my gall bladder removed. Now that pain was unbearable!!! I'd do the C-section or natural any day compared to what I went through with that. |

Does childbirth really hurt? Does the sun come up every morning and the moon everynight? Doh!

maybe I was just lucky but the way I describe it is imagine a blood pressure cuff around your whole mid section . If youve ever had a nurse who REALLY over does it and basically puts your arm to sleep thats it...pain and pressure..hurts yes but there is a LOT to be said for relaxation techniques, its amazing how well they work, besides like many others said out here, when its over you wont care so much about what you went through but you also wont be trying it again anytime soon either.I wouldnt let my husband touch me sexually for months after he was informed he would get a free vasectomy if he did.
