what does the pain feel like???

Contractions are very strange. Hard to describe really. Kind of like period cramps times 100. But they last for a minute and then stop like nothing...very strange.huh

I can honestly say, I got NO strethcmarks! You can avoid them by rubbin your tummy, sides, breasts and hips with vitamin E oil or EMU oil....I did this and wallah...no stretch marks!happy

That wasn't due to the products you used, it was due to where and how much your skin stretched and the genetic elastic qualities of your skin.

As to childbirth, I recall ever agonizing minute of my labor and C-section. It is like it was yesterday. I am non-responsive to narcotics. They do not work. My epidural lasted about 30 minutes until back labor started. It hurt so bad I could barely breathe, much less talk, whine, or cry. That took energy I needed to concentrate on the pain. Damn that pitocin.

Would I do it again? Sure. Two days of pain and ten months of discomfort is nothing in comparison to the love, adulation, and experience of parenting a child for a lifetime. That's why we have more.

I would say HELL YES, but women also have the urge to have children, the maternal instinct so I would say that over rides the pain. Plus alot of women now have the pain controllers during so they don't know how painful it really is anyway. I had mine natural but I have a high tolerance for pain so it was no biggie, hurts and it is over.bigsmile
