What kind of pain are you in Debbie? Pregnancy and even childbirth itself cause a lot of changes in your body that will actually help some conditions. My mothers disorder would go into remission when she was pregnant. Look into that, you may find out it could be healthful for you. If so, it would take some of the fear out of it for you. flowerforyou

I've had surgery for Endometriosis, you'll be amazed how fast the pain stops! My doctor told me that the tissue dies down during pregnancy enough that it often doesn't come back. I was told to get pregnant when they discovered mine...but the Doctor was not willing. laugh

Really? OMG, Debbie, I'm so sorry! Same Doctor every time? Is it not successful or implanting more too fast? That's terrible!

I went to the best and most experienced endoscopic OBGYN I could find for my condition and went to Bismark ND for my surgery. If it would be possible to use him, I'll dig up his info for you. I've been Endometriosis free for 12 years now. Let me know if I can help. I know the kind of pain you're in.

There's a film that they coated my abdominal wall with after the surgery that is made to allow the tissue to heal without scaring or adhesions. I don't know what he called it, but it was a brand new thing back then...surly much more available now. This is supposed to be the main reason for mine never retuning. Ask your surgeon if he knows about this film (it's like a disintegrating cheese cloth) and if he'll use it. The record speaks for itself...no children and 12 years with no re occurrences. flowerforyou

I had bad adhesions too...they crushed an ovary and tube that had to be removed as well. As far as childbirth pain..laugh you'll be a little more desensitized to the pain than most. I wouldn't worry too much. That's what my Doc told me anyway. He said that for me childbirth would feel like really bad gas. laugh

Have you tried any alternative methods of pain relief...I do acupuncture and massage for a shoulder injury right now that keep me med free. When I had abdominal pain, warm cod liver oil compresses cut the pain a lot! My family is a little old school, so that may sound strange, but a couple of times a day for 20 min and you might be pleasantly surprised. Also, instead of heat...ice pac on both lower back and abdomen, but not too long or it has the reverse effect. No more than 15 min if they're really cold. Just cover up in a blanket so the rest of you stays warm. I'm so sorry you're hurting so bad....my heart goes out to you. Wish I could do something. frown

Awww Debbie! Look back at how far you've come with it and remember how strong you can be. One day at a time and enjoy your good days as much as you can. You can't do it until you have your children, but they can induce menopause, which stops it in it's tracks. You will have more options when you're a little older...or if you make it to menopause, you're home free! Just remember that...when you're older it will pass. They promise! flowerforyou

Pregnancy usually cures endometriosis.
I have endometriosis and I had 4 kids. It did not cure it, in fact, it made it worse.

I wouldn't worry too much. That's what my Doc told me anyway. He said that for me childbirth would feel like really bad gas. laugh

i am finding it hard to cope with the pain, and at the moment the pain is really bad, and the demerol and df118 arnt touching the pain. i may have to go through life like this
Have you tried any alternative methods of pain relief...I do acupuncture and massage for a shoulder injury right now that keep me med free. Wish I could do something. frown

thanks for the advice, ive told myself that ill be in pain for life and on pain meds for life.
They promise! flowerforyou

thanks for your kind words flowerforyou flowerforyou
