....an author doing a book signing at a grocery store? I never have, but I think it's a damn good idea.

I say go for it.

That way you can publicize your book and gawk at your crush both at the same time.

Well, not exactly a grocery store but I stood in line for 3 hours to get John Glenn's autograph at a Costco. My son was about 4, it was right after he went into space the last time and my son just was in a state of hero-worship. He gave my son hershey kisses and talked to him for about 10 minutes. It was great.

Unless your subject matter is about FDA recalls and food tampering, it sounds like a great place.

I like the idea of multi-tasking, it's just so efficient....

At the same time, I don't want the whole thing to look as contrived as it really is....

She will be so dazzled by your celebrity status that she won't even notice the incongruity of a book signing in a grocery.

They do sell Excedrin at that store, so there is a sort of ethereal thematic link to the book....

Well, that is good news. I think you could probably save the world using Excedrin caps..well, Illinois, at least.

With a cap and the right dog, you could save humanity.

Last I heard it was available only on Amazon.com. Search under Lex Fonteyne, otherwise you get a children's book called "Moving Day".

Lex can correct me if I am wrong.

You are correct; at this time, it's only available on line. I have people working on that, but nothing's definite yet.
