....an author doing a book signing at a grocery store? I never have, but I think it's a damn good idea.

I say go for it.
That way you can publicize your book and gawk at your crush both at the same time. |

Well, not exactly a grocery store but I stood in line for 3 hours to get John Glenn's autograph at a Costco. My son was about 4, it was right after he went into space the last time and my son just was in a state of hero-worship. He gave my son hershey kisses and talked to him for about 10 minutes. It was great.

We stood in line at at high school pool to get Lenny Krayzelburg's autograph.

Unless your subject matter is about FDA recalls and food tampering, it sounds like a great place.

actually No, the only book signing's I have seen are in book stores.

I say go for it. That way you can publicize your book and gawk at your crush both at the same time. I like the idea of multi-tasking, it's just so efficient.... At the same time, I don't want the whole thing to look as contrived as it really is.... |

She will be so dazzled by your celebrity status that she won't even notice the incongruity of a book signing in a grocery. |

they do, but strangely, all the Excedrin bottles are missing their caps. Turns out that N-trac has boxes of them lying around Building L by Book Four.... |
|

Well, that is good news. I think you could probably save the world using Excedrin caps..well, Illinois, at least.
With a cap and the right dog, you could save humanity. |

Search under Lex Fonteyne, otherwise you get a children's book called "Moving Day". Lex can correct me if I am wrong. |
