Kitten as bad as this is it could be worse. Thank goodness there was not an actual fire & you & the baby are OK. Good luck with the smoke smell, I don't have any advice to offer with that.

I'm sorry you lost everything, but I'm glad you and your kiddo are okay, if it makes you feel better, I have nothing, but I didnt set fire to anything, just didnt pay taxes.

I'm sorry to hear that, but at least you are okay. I agree with whoever said to check with the church--you don't have to go, they'll probably still help. It might not be the most stylish stuff, but it'll get you through.
And as far as what to say, just call up or walk in and be like 'My apt caught fire and I need ________. Can you help me?' |

That stinks...sorry for your bad luck. That kind of stuff happens to everyone though, so don't be too hard on yourself. Things can be replaced at least no one was hurt.

there are companies
that come in and deodorize everything kind of with a smoke .. can always rent a steam cleaner and some fabreeze . sorry to hear that good luck

Ozone generators work wonders on eliminating odors. It could be the furniture saver.

I'm sorry to hear, I'm glad that you or anybody in your family did not have any injury. There are always friends and family member who can help you get back on your feet.
