Well? For me, out of all of them, I'd have to say Thomas Jefferson. Aaron Burr as well, since he was basically a clone of Jefferson, but the reasons are multiple. First off, I think Jefferson had everything about government/economy/society right in general:

- Law is, more often than not, merely an instrument of tyrants, and should be regarded as secondary in terms of justice.
- Organized religion is a disaster. On the flip side, atheism is completely irrational and primitive.
- Banking institutions are more dangerous than standing armies.
- The nature of executive government is inherently oppressive.
- Peace and trade with all nations; alliance with none.
- Christian (i.e. supremely ethical) values are essential to liberty.
- Separation of the INSTITUTIONS of church and state, not ideals.
- "Credit" is a concept designed to enslave humans.
- Central government should always be weak for the sake of freedom.
- Democracy is a batsh!t crazy concept.

I always liked Abraham Lincoln.

Honest Abe.

Don't know why, just impressed me learning about him when I was in school, umpteen years ago.
