Me thinks you give yourself too much credit. Thank God for the mighty Lindy! I humbly bow before thy royal feet!!! ASK ME IF I CARE TRUTH HURTS DOES IT NOT, FANTA?????????????? I GIVE MYSELF A LOT OF CREDIT, I WORK HARD FOR WHAT I HAVE! Lindyy PTL What truth? What about all the police, and police cars it takes to protect your streets, county employees, City employees, and volunteer fire departments get a lot of tax money, waste treatment, and land-fills, etc.... Your property taxes aren't high enough to fill 10 pot holes!! Then you support this great economic and political catastrophe Bush calls the war on Terrorism. Now what does your property taxes cover? You should talk to your local politicians, cause I guarantee I'm not using it!!! I PAY THROUGH DONATIONS TO FIRE AND AMBULANCE, AND THEY HAVE TO RAISE THE REST OF THEIR SUPPORT. MY SON, MY SON, MY SON. BUSTS HIS BEHIND TO KEEP THE FIRE/AMBULANCE VOLUNTEER DEPARTMENTS GOING! MY STATE INCOME TAX PAYS FOR THE SMIDGEN OF HELP THEY GET FROM THE STATE, RUN BY THE AGNOSTIC LEFT WING LIBERAL DEMOCRAT RENDELL. THANK YOU RENDELL FOR THE FEW PENNIES YOU SPARE FOR THESE DEPARTMENTS MY BOROUGH INCOME TAX PAYS POLICE ROAD MAINTENANCE, ETC. I PAY FOR THE SANTITATION/WASTE TREATMENT THROUGH MY QUARTERLY BILL! MY PROPERTY TAX PAYS FOR ALL YOU MENTIONED, YOU WHO LACK INFORMATION/FACTS TO KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT! YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH PERSONAL PROPERTY TAXES ARE ANYWHERE WHAT ABOUT THE DEAD BEAT APARTMENT RENTERS WHO PAY NONE OF THESE HOMEOWNER TAXES???? LIVING THE LIFE OF RILEY WHILE HOMEOWNERS DO WITHOUT. GET OFF YOUR DEAD BEAT BEHIND AND PAY YOUR OWN WAY AND YOUR OWN FAIR SHARE

Prejudice hatefilled people who use the welfare, legal status, etc.... to continue to perpetuate their hatred on other Americans with no consideration for others struggles in life. No consideration for the respect of others lives period. These people actually believe wholeheartedly that one life is worth more than another and see nothing wrong with it.

Lindyy how can you say apartment renters are deadbeats living the life of Riley? Don't you realize property taxes are paid on apartments by the owners, who pass them on in the rent? How do you come up with this idea that apartment dwellers are all deadbeats?

You are a property renter. Don't believe it then don't pay your property tax and see what happens.

WHY? LIFE is what you make it. Oh, I respect others, I just refuse to pay the way for those who find every way they can to get others to do for them. I raised my 2 sons myself, always taught them 'we do not have much, but we WILL take care of what we have.' I am content, very much, with my life. I just lividly resent the burden so unfairly put upon the homeowner People in apartments do not have any of the financial 'burden' in every respect of the word, that the homeowner does. WHY DO YOU THINK NEW HOME SALES ARE DOWN? PEOPLE CANNOT AFFORD THE DAMN PROPERTY TAXES, DUHHHHHHH The rent for an apartment comes no where near what a homeowner pays monthly in personal property taxes on their homes, AND they do not have to fear losing their home because they cannot pay these socialist form taxes. WANT TO BE FAIR? THEN MAKE APARTMENT RENTERS PAY A PERCENTAGE OF TAXES THAT IS STOLEN FROM THE HOMEOWNER'S OWN POCKET FROM HARD WORK AND SACRIFICE. Lindyy

The apathy of the people! We allow Bush to do what the **** he wants too, we allow the court system to let rapists and murders go on technicalities, we allow everything immoral without batting an eye! We need to UNITE as one and get things turned around or we will collapse!

impressive...still on the same question i can't vote...so at this point i don't have an opinion, since it wouldn't do me any good, and am not able to contribute to any changes one thing i do have to say though...where i came from, you had health insurance, even if you couldn't afford it you were covered and someone mentioned welfare...i get foodstamps, but i also work 40 hours a week...

Not a debate. The rules are simple. I am going to ask a question, and I want your honest answer. I do not want a debate, just state your opinion, and let others state theirs as well. If you wish to debate about it, start your own thread PLEASE. This is just a q&a, trying to get a feel for the populace. Q: This country is destroying itself because________________________ Fire away please our representatives don't represent their peers. Maybe fundimental change in process is necessary to be assured of represention. How 'bout draft..like jury duty
